Hey guys, I just arrived in VA. Fort Eustis. I will be here for about 4 months or so. Tomorrow I will be attending the C&C meet in VABeach. Then participating in the AutoX at Pungo Airfield. Let me know when the next meet is. Down to see some VA 8s!

Nice, I drove 2500 miles and got here on Thursday!

I am changing MOS. 13D - 15R. I'll be here till August. When you get back? You can show me around..I was hoping VA would have nice roads so I can lower my car back to where I had it.. I was in for a big surprise...

Around there you have no "good" roads. Maybe Pungo but its two or three turns at best. Out near sandbridge a nice straight to get some decent speed on to scare the cows. But be careful VB cops are straight ****'s. They hate military and love to give reckless driving tickets like candy with the added bonus of ten days in the clink.

Not really worried about the cops, I don't really speed on the road..And going down i64 it seems that the 55-65mph speed limit is slower than the slow lane. everyone does 70+ I was getting passed by everyone. haha. Ya I was at the old pungo airfield today for autox and indianriver road was decent..

You say that now lol! Few years back in my seven with racing beat full exhaust on it, got pulled over for a "noise violation". I was near Oceana and jet was overhead. Somehow my car was louder....

Ya there is a couple things..I don't like taking my car to dealerships (no offense to you or the one you work at) but when I had my engine replaced by Mazda in Kansas they put it all together, said it was done and i got in it started it up and my coolant line burst due to a hole in my heater hose, and they forgot to put in my new pilot bearing. Now my transmission is starting to go, grinds at higher rpms when shifting even slowly. I can do the swap myself, but really looking at what a new trans would cost, or having mine fixed.

Sorry to hear about your past experience with the other dealership. I have learned over the years wheather its the dealer or any other shop, It always comes down to the technician and his personal ability and training. We are a fairly small dealership. We try hard to fix cars right and make people happy enough to recomend us and come back. After you pull the transmission and check the pilot bearing let me know if you need any help and I will let you talk to one of my techs. Either way, please bring your car to our car show June 30th . It should be a lot of fun and I make awsome BBQ.
