Anyone interested in getting together for C&C Williamsburg this Saturday? The weather has been so crappy lately, it'd be nice to get out and cruise up there. This venue has lots of space for parking. I'm going to post this on the other Mazda pages I frequent, too.

well that was a bust....

 

I have gone to a few in the past and it's always been on Sunday...

 

It ended up raining when I got up and in the past I've got to the even in the rain and three people showed up.

What better on Sunday? All of the C&C events are on Saturdays. They have always been on Saturday:

- 1st Saturday of the month is Virginia Beach
- 2nd Saturday of the month is Newport News
- 3rd Saturday of the month is Williamsburg


Off and on I've tried to get folks together on the Mazda boards I frequent and unfortunately it's always been a crap shoot. The Mustang guys show up in full force. So do the Subaru, BMW, CORVETTE and other groups. Hell even the FRS/BRZ guys can get 10-12 cars to show up. But between all the Mazda boards and fb groups it seems impossible to get many people interested. Kind of disappointing to me. I'd love to get everyone together for the meet, a drive and then lunch.

 

What is the local fb group called? Maybe I can get more folks interested that way.

Hello my fellow 8 members. Can someone refer me to a mechanic from Virginia beach?? My car isn't starting! I troubleshooted as much as I can, I de flooded it, check the battery, I have new ignition coils, spark plugs. Hope to hear from ya. It sucks bumming rides.

I'm here in Yorktown. Got an empty schedule for the next 2-3 weeks. We should get a group together and meet up. Anyone interested? I swing by the home depot on Saturday nights on occasion, if anyone wants to meet there? I'm up for whatever, just say the word.

 

C'mon guys! I've seen at least 4 different 8's around Newport News and Yorktown. Some of ya'll have to be on here.

Hello Hampton Roads. I hope to roll with you all some day. Recently moved to the area with my 2004 RX8. However, I have had an unfortunate incident with my baby sustaining damage to the passenger side bumper, headlight, with a repairable ding to the hood and passenger fender.

I've been looking on line for an oem bumper (my car is velocity red ssooooo sexy) but will have it painted if I can find another color. Checked ebay and numerous other sights.

My question: Do any of you know any place local that would carry these parts? What about the Pick and Pull in Va Beach? Can do most of the work myself but will need a good body man for some of the fine tuning?

Hope to be rolling with you all soon! I'm in the Chesapeake area and have to say I love these back roads!
