Well, if Nick still needs the wheel install help, we could do his Saturday the 25th. jskup, does one weekend or the other work better for you? We could do my stuff this weekend and I could "pay it forward" next week or do both the 25th. A drive after either would be good for me.

Im going to try and make it too. If I dont have to work I plan on being there. I don't know much about modding/fixing cars but i want to learn. Computers are my specialty. If you have a broken one or want to mount one in your car, im your man!

We should set a get together for Saturday. I think Nick got his wheels on and I got all my stuff accomplished (many, many thanks to jskup & vIce), so a straight-up meet at Awful's with a drive, maybe?

Oh and random statement... But i just went to lunch and saw on my car (passenger door) a DEEP scratch... like it was keyed... But there was only one scratch not several so I dont know what happened but I know its deep and it had to happen yesterday sometime. Im so pissed...
Did i mention my car is not even 2 months old.

I'd be up to meeting at about 4PM Saturday at Awful Arthur's in VA Beach. It sounds like Marvin_rock is having car issues, so showing off his new shoes may be out.

A 4pm meet on sat would be fine for me as well. It would be even better next sat... Only because im getting my Cold air intake and exhaust installed on tuesday so a meet and drive would be more fun if i had my happy parts installed LOL.

Hey Wash man, Phillies is off Tidewater drive. It's really hard to find right now as they are remodeling and their normal sign is down and just replaced with a giant "OPEN" sign not even saying who they are.

I'm not sure yet if I can make it next Saturday, so I'll post the maps in case I don't. The first is Dan/vIce^gRip's original map. The second is my version with an extra loop in Blackwater and a reroute from Flanagan's Road because of construction. There are several stops marked for photo stops; they're all on the water except the stop at Pungo Field on Dan's map.
As to the photo stops: Pungo Field is just a bigger paved area. I haven't been to Horn Point. West Landing Road ends at a Marina. Dan knows the guy who owns it. Old Pungo Ferry has had the parking lot we used blocked off, but you might be able to get around it or just use the cul-de-sac from the old bridge. North Landing Bridge has a gravel lot to the East just past the drawbridge; it juts out into the river.
The best curves are on the East portion of the circuit on West Neck and Muddy Creek Roads. If you're pressed for time, take the short return back going north on Princess Anne Road at the end of Mill Landing or just run the route backwards from there. Just watch for bikers and even horses on the roads. Visibility is usually good around the corners. Of course, watch the ditches, too.
The Blackwater Loop is new pavement, but a little out of the way. The speed limit drops as you head south for the loop, so watch that area. The return along Blackwater and North Landing Roads is a nice cruise with trees alongside, but not very curvy at all.
The full run including Blackwater is almost 60 miles, without Blackwater it's just short of 50.
edit: the route out of Awful's run's around to Dam Neck and Upton to avoid the mess getting everyone across traffic at General Booth. I'll post this on the other site as well.
