Kudos to NuCar Service - DE
Just had my car serviced by NuCar. I have to say that they have been the best dealer I have gone to so far. Had my 15K service (a little early) and replaced the cabin air filters (dirty after 6 mos.). I also requested they check out my ventilation system for issues. And they really stepped up to the plate to help find out if my respiratory issues were being caused by my 8. In fact, they are trying to get approval from Mazda to do some extreme stuff to make sure my 8 isn't causing the problem. If I understand the process right they
1) starve the cabin of 02 to kill microorganisms
2) clean the ventilation system.
3) fumigate the ventilation system
4) coat the ventilation system to prevent new organisms from attaching themselves to it.
I honestly hope they do it, because I want to rule the 8 out as the cause of my issues.
They flashed my car and did any outstanding TSB's - without asking.
They now will have a repeat customer.
As for the two MS Mazda's near me - they are just way too booked for me to even try them.

Kudos to New Car, DE
Hello to some other local folk . I got the 8 at NuCar, but am a repeat there, having bought my original used 7, and used to take the 87 red convertible 7 in for service. Martin has no fascination for me, even if it's only a mile from home. Frank Harrison is the guy I deal with in New Castle, he knows about 8 and has a miata. Now the miata is my daily driver, but also lives at the track sometimes. The 8, called the yellow rocket is the only car my SO will ride in, as the miata has a set of MOMO in it, and isn't user friendly for a woman with bad knees. . Maybe I'll see some of you around the DE area. BTW, does any group in the tri-state area do social rides (ie twistytail runs) in the country? Just wondering, as the miata group does, and a well run drive is worth the time.
Any track dogs in this group... such as HPDE days at Pocono? I have had the STO miata there 4 days this year, and will be playing on the 29th with NASA on the south course. Anyone interested in either joining on a run (we miatae allow alien such as 8's or even Porsches along, as long as you behave . I have even take the 8 (with the wife's knees in it) for some of the events. HPDE days are another thing entirely... the 8 only has 2300 miles, so I'll not take it yet.. BTW, we did have an 8 up on the track in July.. Have a looksee at LVMOC.NET (click on the Pocono gallery , and try to find the 8 . Steve drives a spec miata, but his wife came up for the day , as a newbie, and it did make it up to 125 on the straight, not bad for a first time out.
Hope to see some 8 around :D
