I had no idea this meet was going on
Sounds like you all had fun. FWIW - my old Greddy 04 6mt was close to 260whp at 7.8psi with no cat. All stock greddy components.
My current NA 6mt made 180whp stock on Dave's dyno before he moved to his new facility. Every car is different really and its all in how much fun you have driving it.
If there is a spring meet, I'm in on it since I'm due for a new dyno. Would like to meet Jeff as well...

Dyno day was a lot of fun, I enjoyed finally putting some faces to the names I see here often of the forums.
The highest number I pulled for the night was the last run (#24) which was 245rwhp I believe. The car had been getting in the 230s until the last run where it jumped up to 245. I maintain the position that I am not shooting for a specific number as I said many times prior to getting up on the dyno but it is true that the car's numbers were low considering Dave told me most normal GReddy MTs pull in the 260s on his dyno.
The current hypothesis is that my rx7store highflow cat is holding back the setup significantly and I will test this by ordering an OBX test pipe since it is just a straight pipe without resonators even and then compare the logs at that point. Compression was tested about 3-4 months ago and very healthy and the cat has less than 1500 miles on it so it is highly unlikely it is completely blocked. Dave was saying that the magnaflow cats are made in such a way with a rotary turbo they might prove even more restrictive than the OEM.
The car is still running very rich as well, at WOT it will go down to 10 and then stay around 10-10.4 until redline. Boost comes in strong and spools to 12psi then starts falling off rapidly down to around 7 at redline but I still need to fill up my methanol bottle so I wasn't pushing it TOO much.
I'll update my build thread shortly with more details.

Before you order the OBX test pipe I have one sitting in my garage, has about 200 miles on it. Ill let it go for $75. Its about $150 ordering online.

I was pretty beat, but I enjoyed watching Dave work his magic on the RX-7 after we got done with markryan's car. (I wish I could have kept going on that car - 200HP+ was within reach and that is more than 55% increase at the wheels over stock. At 9 PSI, that ain't too shabby.)
Well, there was no one to play with. Everyone left me and went home!

It was a good time sorry I had to leave so early. Had other engagements to attend to =P. Great seeing you again Jeff. Probably the next time would be at the Vegas meet, unless you get booked down here again.
If we have another dyno meet, it should be at KDR again. I like that setup much better than the other one.

Wow, talk about a fast year. Ive got a jpeg of Jeff spinning the dyno on the sdcard of my old phone I should post.
Anyone interested in doing another run? Ive made a bunch of changes, and have some upgraded injectors I want to install.
