Yeah for a nice rim, to repair it, he's the man. We warned, he looks vaguely like "weird al yankovic" haha
New/nice OEM rims are surprisingly expensive, as is everything OEM. Gently used ones are like 500-600 a set usually? You're better getting some sick aftermarket ones that are just as good and the same price...

I have the center console, vent rings and dash strips fiberglassed to be painted to a glossy finish. They are sunfire yellow now. I have a complete competition/show speed6 sub box. It's made of suede and matching trunk carpet, neons, plexi for show of subs. The box was handling 1800 watts but can handle way more. CPE intake, pretty sure thats only for the 4i. titanium gauges, oem exhaust, red neon sill plates, one smoke taillight, one smoke chrome headlight, satin chrome fuel door, another competition/show sub box made of fiberglass which is painted glossy silver and black was pushin 1500 watts, two radio bezels, one fiberglassed to fit anything the other is a metra, oem grille and side markers...
Think thats it lmao.

Hey guys, my car has been spending most of this snowy weather at Speed1. Although I want it her with me the weather report says snow again on Friday. It seems we have horrible snow every week then just bad in between. I don't know how much more of the north east weather I can take, Miami might be with in my 5 year plan. Then I can drive my 8 all year round!

Hey guys - anyone know of a shop on long island that would be good to do an aftermarket clutch+flywheel installation? I dont have the time nor facilities to do it myself.
A dedicated tranny shop would be ideal, but any competent general mechanic would work to.
I'm looking for someplace that is organized and professional, not a one-man "ill get started on it and call you in a few days" type of place. And one that won't rip me off would be nice too, I got 2 quotes around $400, cheaper would be better obviously lol.
I know, I'm picky, but the car's worth some effort in finding a good mechanic!

Theres a STS mechanic shop on hempstead turnpike across from NUMC in east meadow and a lot of people go there and then there's a gasoline station mechanic on front street in east meadow by taco bell. My family and my cousins family have been going to that mechanic for years and they're really chill and won't rip you off! I've brought my 8 their a couple of times and I've seen others there as well. I actually got to go there this weekend to get my brakes changed and maybe my oil too. It should be called Gus's mechanic or shop or something along the lines of that lol

I'll check it out...
And I do a rotation at NUMC in a few weeks, that might be convenient!

Yea just oil changes for me but my parents and aunt and uncle have brought their cars there for more in depth maintenance work and they cut us a good deal being that we always go to them. If anything just go check out both places see what they tell you and see which place you think seems better to you.....OR even better, a neighbor of mine does insane work to his cars, he's got an old corvette and I think hes cranking out about 500 out of that beast. Let me put it like this, he put his vet up for sale on ebay and sold it for about $50,000 if not maybe more, to some guy in Germany hahaha. You try selling an american car to a German where they have BMW's and Mercedez and all that fun stuf loll. So he definitely knows his stuff. Plus he's offered several times to help me with my car to put whatever I need. So it's up to you what you want to do. I for one am going to have my neighbor put my exhaust and pulleys in when I get them...soon hopefully lol! If you want I can find out if and when he can do it and how much he'll do it for.

They are right across from NUMC, and seem OK.
Gh0st - yeah it'd be nice to bring it to a specialist shop but my schedule is just crazy. This place I can bring it in the morning and literally walk across the street to the hospital for the day lol....can't argue with that...
