Nice bro thanks for commenting me back...i ordered fuel pressure oil pressure and oil temp...but i need to get it professionally done cuz i ordered this pod from rx8strakes.com and it says you have to cut my dashboard alittle to be installed...where on the island you at?

You can also try http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/ They are right in medford also. I've ordered a few things from them and they were very helpfull, but I've never had anything installed there. Back when i had my spec v they recommended a shop that did a really good job.

Which pod? The Lotek pod for the center panel above the radio? The cut doesnt need to look nice on that pod because the pod covers everything you cut. Just grab a dremel and cut it out rough. That's what I did.

thanks alot for the advice...ive been waiting to give no limit a call its just that no ones been open cuz of the holidays...did any of you guys install your gauges on your own?...i have all the pieces needed for the gauges ...Except doesn anybody know what i need for the install of my fuel pressure gauge because with my oil gauges i needed a oil block adapter..and im wonadering if i need something liek that for my fuel guage?...and yes i have the lotek gauge pod and im glad to here that the cutting isnt a big deal..thats the only thing i was afriad of was it an easy install?

Yeah the pod was easy, but be careful of one thing. The clips they give you to hold the pod in place while the silicone dries are VERY strong, and will leave marks on the pod unless you use something to cushion the clips. Maybe a piece of cardboard. I installed just an AFR guage so far, eventually will put in oil temp and oil pressure. Also, the template they give you to cut the hole in your dash piece is a little conservative near the hood side, it'll need to be cut slightly more than that, but the hole will still be plenty smaller than the entire pod piece.
I don't know what fuel pressure gauge installation entails, so I can't tell you about that. The oil gauges will probably require some kinda sandwich plate adapter that is intalled under your oil filter, thats what my turbo kit did. All that's left after the pod and getting the readings, is supplying the gauges with power. For that I'd tap the wires going to the cigarrette lighter, which will be available to you anyway, cuz you need to take that out (as well as the radio) to take the dash panel out.

Happy New Year Long Island Drivers!
It's been a while since I have been here to say hello.
Random question?? How many of you store your car for the winter? Just curious, I haven't seen many around. There is one I see when I go to school. I know the owner is someone from here because it was posted not too long ago.
Nope, I still don't have an 8 but, I can always stop to admire one passing by.

I do not store my 8 for winter, I have snow wheels/tires to put on. Not ideal, but I get by. I go to NYIT.

I'm currently attending Briarcliffe College, in Bethpage.
Sliding around in the 8 in winter cannot be fun. At least, I would not do it.

i had some PM's with someone where we talked about it briefly, lemme see if I can find those and find some info.
edit: nevermind. it wasn't helpful for you at all. "If not you can get an oil pressure gauge and a fuel pressure gauge, both are good but you have to get creative to install the fuel pressure one ." Guess that implies itll be tricky. Whatever you do, make absolutely certain you have no fuel leaks when its all said and done. I had a fuel spray after an injector install from a broken o-ring. Give it a very very close inspection while running. I saw this one guy whose entire car burned because Mazda botched a repair.

Sorry, not going to Jersey......break is over, med school = I again have no life.
I have winter tires and wheels, and they ROCK. Next time it's set to snow a lot, I will get away for an hour, and we all need to go sliding around!!!
Seriously, with a good set of snow tires, this car is AMAZING. Handles beautifully, powerslides are really controllable, and it's a blast.
