Actually, this is just what I'm talking about. He's got more parts on there than he can handle, use, or setup properly, and then sounds SURPRISED when he's got problems. the parts thing maybe true, but suprised I was not, never been suprised about the reliability of aftermarket parts since I started modding the car 5 yrs ago, is that gonna keep me from modding it, hell no,,, Do you really think that he's going to be able to actually make any use of the performance benefits of that fancy in-car-on-the-fly electronic dampening controller, was starting to, the day is only so long,,, for all the supposed racing books that youve read and kept blabbing about, thought you would have known that every mod counts, even improvements in the driver, and since I have no experience at all thats the biggest area that needs attention, wasnt making any illusions about that, but when parts break they cannot be ignored either,,, or a useless big brake kit (we all know that BBK's on rx8's are just for looks, don't argue with me on this one) Give me a break here.... Haha dont make me laugh, you need some more time reading(oohhh wait I guess your reply will be I need more time driving, hows that for humility) maybe you can put down some of those racer books and read some of the forums with RG, TeamRX8 and Dannobre,,, And then we have to deal with him, yes, bitching, about how something went wrong. Keep It Simple Stupid. He's done just the opposite. Not gonna argue there, been with the Army R&T for years, but Im not gonna start strippin down my car, now I need to make it bulletproof so I can work on what I need to do as a driver,,, Because the conclusion I reached after only a few hours was that he is more concerned about boosting his ego with expensive bits and pieces than anything else. That's ALL I heard him talking about, either good or bad. And that's ok, I could care less. Sound like thats all you cared about,,, But when he starts implying that his hardware was holding him back as though it wasn't his own doing (seriously who buys a $$ BBK and doesnt check pad compatibility, cmon now...) then that's annoying. So as I said, I'm just knocking him back down to size a bit and feel totally fine with that... I didnt imply that at all, if my car was perfectly healthy and my times were slower than the other guys then maybe you'd have some weight in your accusations... And for what it's worth, this is not about me, because anyone who knows me know i'm the least egotistical guy there is. In person or on the InterWEbZ. And I didn't say SHIT about my own performances until he said "I was consistantly faster than the N/A 8's" And CONVENIENTLY later "ohhh I was only talking about the newbies" blah blah just stop. He wants to feel BIG, right out of Psych 101. So obvious. And I've spent more than enough time lowering myself to even dealing with this, so that's all from me. ahahah whatever man you dont know me at all,,, Just sounds to me like you just like to kick people when they are down,,, You think I enjoy have shit on my car break or something,,, Get a fucking life man, if you didnt care about all this shit why the hell are you yapping your mouth at local meets, sounds pretty ego-testical to me Im done ranting,,, anyone who wants to actually give objective technical advice, Im all ears, thats what we're all here for is to learn, some of us learn how to build some of us learn how to drive, no one knows everything...
