Unless you're having problems, coils dont need to be replaced till at least 40k miles, 50k is fine. Technically, they don't need to be replaced at all, but it's definitely true that a new set will feel a little fresher.

I don't know anything about a thermostat issue. Is yours broken or something?

If you're planning on changing your oil then, yes, obiouvsly, you need an oil filter(s), and will probably need a filter wrnech as well. And a crush washers for the oil pan is a good idea, although frankly I have never changed mine. Most of the time I go to Jiffy lube, I keep an eye on them, and all is fine.

Tranny and rear differential fluid should be changed at 30k and 60k miles. You should get new crush washers for those, again I never did, but do as I say not as I do. Changing the fluid isn't THAT simple, mind you, you'll need a fluids pump (<$10 at a auto store) and some good fluid (redline makes great fluids, ask me if you plan on doing this and need details about which ones). You also need a breaker bar and 22mm, 23mm and 24mm nuts (actually, it's only two of those, i just forget which... Not to mention that for doing ANY of these things, you'll need a jack (something better than the little thing in your trunk) and at elast 2 jackstands. [Not to turn you off of it, because its nice to do these thigns yourself, but if you buy/supply the fluids, a shop will do the change for you for like $50. Gear oil is very very smelly.]

Fender liner clips? Are you missing some? In that case then yes, you can buy replacements....


What WASNT mentioned is spark plugs, which definitely should be changed every 30k miles I believe it is. More frequently is better. Our car uses freakishly expensive plugs,, about $80 a set. They are easy to change, but you will need a jack, a spark plug socket, and socket wrench with extension. We could help you do it in the parking lot.
