True, I didn't try the hammer route.....
Yeah, i read all the how-to posts around here....but still found it surprisingly difficult. I tried a little WD-40 on them, but it didnt seem to do much, it's hard to lubricate underneath an already tight part. If I can't find that tool, maybe I'll give it another go tomorrow with a LOT of silicone lube...
My friend who changed the exhaust on his 8 came over, and said it was tougher than he remembers. My '04 car has 51K on the clock, maybe the rubber pieces stiffen up over time? Or maybe I'm just weak lol....we'll see....

Hey ill join you guys for the caravan. Its less than a hour drive with no traffic. All we do is take the grand central and stay on the left lane . That will get us there. Really easy.

The Borla is on!!! Thanks for the advice everyone, just greased the rubber pieces up a lot, and did a lot of pulling. I still say it was harder than everyone made it sound...
But I don't care cause it sounds amazing, and is particularly 'glorious' in tunnels and parking garages. It's actually a bit quieter than I was expecting, but that's probably a good thing.

NJ Meet
Anybody here up for going to the NJ meet....
I'll be headed down there and the tripp is no more that 40min w/traffic.....

Yea my bad i should have specified.....
Tomorrow is the meet and i should leave roosevelt field around 730pm in the bloomingdales parking lot..........
I just saw that the meet starts at 8pm
Weather says it should be good.........
I ain't got anything else to do so i am def going.......

its up to you guys were we should meet, my gym is there i was going to be there either way.....
Take the meadow brook to the mall exit or west old country rd...
My car will be in front of the road that goes around the mall for everybody to see.....
This should be a good turn out remember, 730-745 i will plan to leave at like 750-8pm...
