MA Spring Install Meet/BBQ in Brighton

Well hello there boys and girls,

Its your friendly neighborhood Clavius! well the time has come for me to step up as it where and get us MA folks together for something beyond a small mini-meet. WarCrunk's father has been nice enough to allow us the use of his shop for a meet. He has 3 lifts and a rather large parking lot to hold us all and more really. I checked and double checked and we'll pretty much have full run of the shop durring the meet. So if your looking to have a set of shocks, springs a clutch installed come Spring, hold off till this meet.

We shall also be having a BBQ there. Details of this are as of yet not fully fleshed out but hotdogs and burgers are key and the possibility of a pig roast also hehe.

Oh and one more thing I'm looking at seeing if a certain Rx8Club celeb if you will, can stop by and maybe do a install or if all else help us out since he'll be in the area. The name I'm with holding at the moment till I'm able to get ahold of him but he's already shown interest just need to nail it down.

UPDATE!: Well I talked to Charles Ray Hill or just Ray as he perfers. He'll be up in ME on/around April 16th and said he'll be able to get down to our Meet on The 20th a Sunday.

If anyone wishes to order any BHR Products I know he wont mind installing them while he's there.

J trust me let it push you over the edge. It will be worth the experince along.
Chris damn straight your coming up. We'll have the house in Pawtucket RI by then so no worries about a hotel my friend.

The quicker we get a list of people interested in having things installed the better since I'd like to set up a time frame for each install and have better quardination (if I spelt it right that is haha) to have things run very damn smoothly.

Sounds like a great idea! It'll be last minute if I can make it or not, as we get back from our honeymoon a few days before

We have a friend in NEPOC that makes the same trip from PA to MA twice a year.

Would we able to do smaller jobs like change the differential and transmission fluids though?

With all the hype this is getting i wouldnt be surprised if there will be some people that wont get their car on the lift like they are hoping... thus the reason why im doing my springs before hand and just helping out

Installation of parts shall be "First Come First Serve" and by that I mean as in those who show interest on the boards. There will be a cut off obviously as these things take time. That and if a TON of people wish to have things installed that require a lift I'm sure we can see about having this meet start early as to accomodate. Doing Springs/shocks on my car in PA took about 3hr's but that was due to the fact we had to get some tools from Autozone. I'm sure with Astral, Alt and Ray there (among others) with experince with our car it shall take significantly shorter amount of time.

Mind you even if you dont wish to have anything installed, your pressence and help will be greatly appreciated.

Oh also this is going to be extended to the guys at NEPOC and by Wed Rx7Club.
If it comes down to, to many people wishing to have springs/shocks installed (the major time killer) again we'll work something out I'm sure. That and having this extended to the other forums gives us more people with more experince once again cutting time in half.

One more thing before I sign off into the real world.
If you have tools bring them! We will have use of their tools but more like equipment really. For those who have worked in a shop or know of someone, you should know how touchy some people are about others touching their tools lol.

That's all for now.

Oh and to Holy and Krysty great to see you two popping back on the boards!! And come on.. what says loving like a HUGE Mazda meet?? exactly nothing bwahaha
