If I'm not helping my friend move this Sunday (hoping to find out sooner rather than later), I'll be up at WarCrunks shop to help him clean it up. Any local guys are welcome to come and chip in.

Well on the house front... BoA sucks, they are absolutly horrible at getting back in touch with me and some of their own dept's dont talk to each other and paperwork isnt completely and/or updated apropriately. So as of right now the house is now from a definate to on the rocks due to them. Wish me luck and hope I dont snap on 'em. Grrr...

Kevin, banks only care about your credit score and likelihood to repay the loan. Even with a spotty credit record/score you'll find a mortgage somewhere. Refuse to eat the **** that BoA is handing you and shop your situation. If the seller wants to sell the home(especially in the current market) they will be patient with you. Find another bank and make sure you tell BoA that you are fed up with their refusal to close the deal. Simple as that. As customer, you are the boss and don't be afraid to flex that muscle. If I can get done the stuff that I do, I am sure you can too.

The corrupt A-holes in the State House have proposed a bill called "The Economic Growth and Fairness Act of 2008" - a gross misnomer btw - that will effectively destroy the state's economy. They plan to cut the property tax, yay! right? Yeah, they're using that fact to fleece people. This bill would tax EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN: landscaping, laundry services, maid services, movie tix, and on and on. You name it, they're going to tax it. Mind you, there's no mention of cutting the insane spending. ~40% of the State Budget goes to Social Programs. 40% !!! Education is only 30%, and our schools are still ranked at 45 or 46 in the country. RUN, Kev!

Update for everyone: car goes into body shop Monday and they say it will take THE MOST.. 3 days. So I'll definitely be looking sharp for the meet. Unfortunately, Varney did get me a sweet deal on body parts, but both body shops I trust and went to (dealership and private one that Blurr is going to) gave me the finger when I said I want to use my own parts. :/


Also, good update for anyone. Anyone want something installed but maybe not so expensive or not sure what to get? I'm going to HMS motor sports seminar in Danvers from 10am - 2pm ..they're going over racing schools in the area, up coming racing season, and all sorts of other goodies. Best part is, free to register and they have "Day Only" discounts~! I'm hoping to get my racing helmit and some carbotech AX6 performance brake pads. They sell red line tranny fluid I heard and other things..So check it out. The link below is to register. Me, GreenBlurr and Vash are attending. So you won't be left out if you come. I may go to our local Sharon Credit Union since they have a similar loan program that we are doing with BoA. Put it this way for bad service/communication, about 3 weeks ago someone from the bank contacted me to set up a appointment to apraise the house. The guy came ova looked at it and we were done. Tuesday the Underwriter tells me it still hasnt been done. UGH!

We are buying the house from my gf's parents so we are getting a hell of a deal a 285k house for 200k. The Loan to Value is at 70%, even Jedi was surprised they are dragging their feet once he figured the LtV. Jedi has been great helping me out on this.. just wish he'd reply to my recent pm's lol. But the plus side is we are looking at a way lower rate now due to the fed lowering the rate (once more).

And DMC I dont have a maid, I dont do laundry and I stay the hell away from theaters... $10 for a hour and a half long movie um no thanks lol. She is slapping the kids in Private School so we are avoiding the public schools. Again the deal is to good to pass up. Its like say Ray offering you a free Custom Turbo, the downside is your gas consumption will go up. A free install vs more times at the pump what would you do? lol

I'd be going down for the Mall meet but I'll either be helping move my friends stuff or picking up.

I just might. This entire Morgage thing has been a major MAJOR crash course for me. My GF doesnt wish to touch anything with regards to it which is annoying. Right now our major annoyance is they wish to see that our planned 10k downpayment is coming from us not as a Gift. We where told it could be now it can't. But they put in something that if LtV is 80.001% or higher it has to be from our own funds but again we are atleast at/around 70% Lvt. Swear shouldnt be this complicated to get this house lol..

Oh and Ray not sure if you seen but I was curious if (if WarCrunks has the equip for it) you could perform a compression test that and do a quick once ova on my baby. She is still shuddering and vibrating even after replacing the engine mounts, not as violent obviously but still. Just read a thread about someone having their engine replaced and they stated vibrations even after mounts where replaced so yeah my long time theory (and others) that my engine needs to be replaced is getting stronger, but what do I know I'm a silly guy, who's "Aftermarket parts" caused my Engine Mounts to crach

Relax, Kev. Banks always want to make sure your earnest money comes from you and not as a gift. Instead of focusing so much on the administrative nonsense, all you need to do is know what your down payment will be, what your credit score will be, and what your rate is for the term you select. Listen to real estate/mortgage talk radio on Sunday in your area(I can assure you there is a show on weekends that talk about it) and you'll become more comfortable with it all. Have a firm grasp of the fundamentals and the paper-pushing idiots will take care of the rest. The most important thing is that if your gut is telling you that somethig is amiss.......it is. Trust your gut because this process, although somewhat complicated, isn't really all that bad.

BTW, your GF staying out of your way, since she has no interest in it, is a good thing.
