Contact Via PM nycgps he's from nyc (duh lol) see if you two can set something up. There are a few also from CT j67345 and lowrdteg for intance so if you want a meet up spot along the way there ya go New Haven depending on route ya take is a great spot lol.

Just found out the GF picked up a shift at her work for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I'll be watching the kids 3pm on but Ima try to get down to the shop for a few to help set things up. Also I'll be down at the house in RI that night regardless since to my knowledge Varney is still coming down. Sunday night I'll have the kids also but I'll be picking them up after the meet is ova, so Ray you ready to be unca Ray for the night haha..

Found a rest area right outside Fairfield which should be the most convenient for people coming from NYC/NJ area taking the I-95 N. It's exit 22. Thoughts?

It's Desination B on this map:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...67,1.2854&z=10

Who is coming from ny/nj anyway?

I may stop by for a bit since this is so close! Not sure if it will be with the 8 or the GTi however. The 8's a right mess, still with snow shoes on and lookin pretty flithy since I haven't had time to clean her with the wedding and everything. She'll be nothing pretty to look at other that maybe confusing people with her 350Z wheels haha.

Hahah! Clav - we got married the 29th :-) 3 weeks ago! And yes the Cobalt is *finally* gone. We were stuck between getting another Z and the GTi, wound up with the GTi due to practicallity reasons. Can't have 2 cars that can't fit more than one grocery bag in the trunk! LOL!

Debating on trying to get the summer shoes on tomorrow... they are for sale, and it would be such a PITA to get them on and then take them off if they sell soon. If not I'll have Jeff try to clean her up Sat since I have something to do all day.

I'll stop bye to see how club members upgrade their cars. I am replacing front and rear rotors , pads , speedbleeders it might be a good oppurtunity to do it on a lift. Other than the parts do I need to bring tools or will the shop have them. I am an early birder so 10 am seems like a good time to start. Let me know if at this late date is this is a possibility. I love this car.

Print up the DIY and bring it to them. Jesh.. Sounds like your dealing with Gallery lol.

RX8b4u, it is a bit late in the game to jump in with that many mods to perform. There should be some jackstands around from members for use that and if you have your own tools I'd suggest you bring 'em. Just makes things that much easier and quicker. If you dont have the proper tool(s) chances are someone will I'm trying to reserve the Lifts for the suspenion installs at this time.

Heading to the house tomorrow night to finalize the house (I hope lol). I need to set up all my electronics (PC, Surround Sound, Stereo, ect...) so I wont be online for most of the night to organize stuff.

Man, I got my work cut out for me...two wheels on the 8 are filthy (I cleaned two to check out how bad the pitting was...not too bad) and the car itself is a mess.

I have to take the winters off, lower the suspension, throw the 19's on, tweak the rear camber a bit, then clean it up as best I can. Should have the majority of the day to do it though.

BAH!
