So I can confirm that I am coming~

I've got to clean the car up nice (boy is it dirty right now), and I should put the summer shoes back on too; so I have my work cut out for me tomorrow. This will be its first chance for a good spring cleaning, I wonder how in depth I'll get. Hope I don't bite off more than I can chew...

I don't plan on getting out there till about lunch time (1-ish?), as I'm going to check out the WPI car show first since it is local. I anticipate this going for 'most' of the day, right?

Looking forward to it!

I will load up my car with the jack, a pair of stands, ramps, and tools so I should be able to loan stuff out if people need it. Please return stuff though :P My car is quite unmistakable, says "ice race" all over :P

Not much work to be done to mine... I need to take off the rear bumper to swap rear license plates (unless someone with really tiny hands can help me...). If there's time I'd like to try and throw on the gutted cat..

I will be leaving Detroit at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and I should be at Clavius's place around 7:30-8:00 p.m. I have axles, clutch, flywheel, nitrous nozzles, and a clutch pedal with me for all to see.

Yes the quasi secret is out Ray shall be staying at Hotel Clavius for two nights!!! lol..
I can't wait whoohoo.. my first "Offical Guest" shall be Ray haha yeah I'm sooo inflating ray's ego right now. A few of us shall be hanging out for a few, I'd make a open invite but there is a strong possibility that I'll be watching my Gf's two children. Last thing I wanna do is be kicked out the first weekend I'm living in the house lol.

I got some sway bars and endlinks from the man Patrick via topgear so I'll have something to install, but I'm going to see about installing the rear sway bar tomorrow since again the endlink is broken. So I'll be installing the front sway bar which I hear is either hard or easy depending on who you ask.

I'm tired and lucky I'm able to form a complete sentance (i think these are complete?). You'll be hearing from me sometime tomorrow at the house (I hope) via wireless hehe.

Sean any word on Tables?! I think I could swipe one from work but I wanna make sure before I snag it.

Captain's Log; 6:42 a.m.

Here I sit at the local Caribou Coffee shop, sipping my large Turtle Mocha watching the sun rise. Yesterday's weather was in the mid-70s in MI and served as a perfect opportunity to prepare my car for today's road trip to Pawtucket, RI. Today's brilliant red morning sets a beautiful stage for tomorrow's 40+ car extravaganza.

The barista asked if I was up early for business and, when I told him what I was doing, he seemed impressed. Reactions like these always cause me to appreciate the fact that my RX8Club friends have allowed me to leave the assembly line and do for a living that which I love to do.

See you guys in 12 hours.

Sleepy Guys Log: 7:33am

Just ate some blueberry waffles, they where good hmmmm... helped my gf's son make some ceral also. He thinks 'cause Total Raisin Bran has sugar on the raisins they are awsome. I'm still tired, my work sucks making me wake up this early for a stupid "training" session. Self note, dont tell the managers what you really think, you still need this job.. atleast for a lil while longer.

Todays goals are getting the gf's bed down to Pawtucket, finalizing the table situation (we only need 3 max Sean btw!), find out if the gf is working, buying a wireless router (hehe), and seeing about sneaking down to the shop to make sure the side parkinglot got picked up completely. I apologize Zelse and Warcunk, the GF somehow got two shifts this weekend, if she ends up actually workign them I wont be able to get down there to help out since I'll be watching her two kids. Zelse if I dont make it please make sure Sean gets that side parking lot cleared up, we can fit a additional 5 cars if not more if it gets done .

Ok off to work guys, those who have my number call me after 12 if you have any questions or concerns.
Sleepy Guy Signing off.

Crap, my wife's truck starting making strange noises last week, and we found out yesterday it needs a new clutch throwout bearing (might as well replace the whole friggin clutch)...and tranny rebuild...to the tune of $2400! I'm gonna try, but I don't think I'm going to be able to get up there today! ugh!

Ahh well I am back hijacking Ray's PC at the moment. We are back at my place at the moment just relaxing and catching up on the boards.

I'd like to first say thanks to everyone that showed up. We had atleast 25 cars show up if I counted correctly possibly pushing closer to 30 since some people came late. It was a great time I believe and we got alot done. Some minor hicups in terms of installs, like um... mine... ugh!!! But anyways, I hope to have smaller meets every so often with you guys so keep your ears/eyes peeled to the local boards damnit!! None of this dispearing b.s. till some "Run" or "Install Day" pops up haha

Oh... Ray drives like a Granma hahahahah...

Anyone posting pictures make sure to do it in the multimedia section might as well let others enjoy our day right?!!!

Great meet! Thanks to everyone who came out!

It was nice meeting all the new people. Thanks to everyone who helped out with car work.

All the photos from my camera are here. I left the camera on a poor setting, so the photo quality is not that great. Looking forward to the pics from others!

Ray left a lil while ago. He was determined to get home to Detroit, something about us Massholes he was muttered under his breath haha.. j/k.

I'm way to tired right now to even think of posting up pictures so I'll be doing that sometime tomorrow. I have close to 100 photo's to upload so yeah.... Greenblur we are the only two whom have photo's of the new BHR product haha.

G'night for now.

Thanks to Astral (for all the work and for spotting that "F" for "fucked," ughh, "front" on the rear passenger's side, as well as "R" for "reject" or "retarded"...hahah) and Clavius (for counting the coils on the rear spring, which prompted Astral to check out the code)...I now know that my damned springs were installed incorrectly.

I'm gonna go back to the stupid shop that installed my springs and bitch like crazy.

I can't believe I've been driving with the incorrectly installed springs these past few months...If I didn't bother to ask Astral and if Astral didn't bother to take a look at it, I'd still be driving my car and wondering why the hell my car didn't sit right all the time...
