Its just a simple service station mind you. I was hoping to do some trannyfluid flushes and stuff but the shop is not set up for it. Why I'm asking people to bring their own tools so we can have the maximum amount of people helping out at any one time. Though it would be wicked pissa if they did have a bender (forget the exact name atm bah! ).
Oh WarCrunk within the next few weeks I'll be bringing my car in so we take a peak at my CAT. And no your not gonna gut it like yours lol. If its gone whoohoo CAT#2 is on its way! Found some service papers for when it was replaced last time. They noted a low vacume and how it was throwing a CEL for something else all together (I think the thread is somewhere in this section of the boards actually).
Now a question for all of you. Does your car vibrate at all. Had the Engine Motor Mounts replaced and I'm still getting a vibration at times. Its not as hard as before (Re: Back Messager like) but its still there. Ever since I've owned the car I've never experinced the "Smooth as Silk" idle, more like a "Slight Rumble of a V8" lol.

Hmm... dunno what to tell you. I got a good question for anyone.. anyone experience a "winding down noise" from 4k down to 2k when they're on the highway? only started to hear it once I got the new cat.
As for the meet, I plan to at least do some mild stuff. :3

well when you replaced the motor mounts, did you go with aftermarket ones or stock rubber?
as for a winding down noise, i wouldn't put it past the pilot bearing to pull one of those moves..
why the hell am i trying to give tech advice in an Rx8 forum? lol?

Tell them its a meet and we are up to about 20+ people/cars but I wouldnt mention the install portion since we may be pushing it with the amount of suspension installs lol. Though minor installs like sways bars and such are a definate.
Find out more info on this place in Brockton and get back to me I may be interested.

Well thats the thing..it's just sort of like..they gather at burger king or wendy's and just hang out apparently and talk. Some street race on the street next door but thats about it. So I don't know if we're dealing with " YO YO WHAT UP" gangstas..or cool people.
Last time I was there it was literally a car show in a Mc Donalds parking lot with loud music playing and some nice and some **** cars.

Ok with that right there I know exactly where your talking about. Right on/off of 27. I used to hang out there for awhile many years ago. Pretty cool group of people if its the same crowd. Used to hang with a woman who had a Cutlass with a Cadi550 engine squeezed in the front, now that car HAULED!
I'll see about going this Saturday if all else to check it out. Just wish I had the Summers on haha.

If its the same type of crowd just check your ego at the door
Zelse try to nail down more info like what time and what have you so I can make plans and let my gf know whats going on. Last time I remember heading up there they where a cool crowd more muscle heads than yo hommie tuners. Just wish it was warmer out without threat of snow so I could slap on the 18's!

Let me know. I may bring the girlfriend along..actually..more then likely she's coming along. I wasn't planning on hanging out too long in the first place, just wanted to get to know them and invite them along and all. No racing for me. :3

Not sure how I missed this thread - maybe it should have been stickied.
I'm in. Nothing to install & no $$$ to dedicate towards getting something to install, but it sounds like a good time to me.
Add me to the list Kev, and since you'll be going from RI - don't leave w/o me!

DMC I'll be leaving early most likely since I'm the one putting the show together as it where so as long as you dont mind a early wake up then by all means your welcome to tag along. I'll be living right by the S-curves (howard johnson) so no idea where you are in relation to that but hopefully helps ya out.
Ok since we have several suspension installs, and these will take awhile. I was curious as to how early everyone wishes to get this thing started. Overall it really relies on WarCrunk since he has the keys to the joint but I'd like this discussion to start now. It took about 3hrs for mine but I believe with some minor prepping, enough tools and enough people helping we can cut that time in half. Myself I dont mind getting there around 9am. I know early but again sooner we start the sooner we finish then the quicker we can eat! hehe.
