Let me know. I may bring the girlfriend along..actually..more then likely she's coming along. I wasn't planning on hanging out too long in the first place, just wanted to get to know them and invite them along and all. No racing for me. :3

TIME is Set!
Ok just talked to WarCrunk.
We can start this at 9am. I'd like to have the first install get underway by 9:30am. So who here will have tools to do a suspension install besides what tools they will have at the shop. Again more tools means quicker we can get these done

Install Update & Other Info/Thoughts
Ok guys finally got around to making the list of who is installing what, atleast those that have been mentioned on the boards. So far only 7 people have shown interest in having something installed. Of those 7, 4 are suspension installs and only one is a definate the rest are possibles (as stated in their own post's).
HolyCross05 I believe doing the tranny/diff fluid change is possible its just that WarCrunks shop doesnt have a flush machine for the tranny. WarCrunk if I'm wrong in saying he can do it please chime in ASAP thanks.
I'll be sending out a few PM's to people to verify a few things with them also.
This thought just occured to me and I'm surprised I didnt think of it sooner. Place's like Advanced and AutoZone at times "lend/rent" out tools. We did this in the PA Install Meet last year for my Spring Compressors. Was only a 20.00 holding fee which was then returned onto my card after being returned. I'll see if my own local Advanced AutoParts does this and find out how long I could "use" the tools for. If they say more than a day then I think some of us should go to our local Advanced or AutoZone and borrow the Spring Compressors for this meet to speed things along. Be nice to have 4 compressors going each one doing a side instead of waiting for just one to be passed along. Also those who are doing the suspension installs I'll be asking a few things of ya when the time comes up, dont worry its nothing huge just a few prep things to save some time

kev,
is there any factory mazda tools that could help, i dont mind bringing down some ignition coils, and normal rotary stuff to sell to you guys.
Let me know, cuz obviously with the mazda dealership ive got tons of stuff thats everyday stuff to me that could be vital when doing some of these installs.

I'm sure if you brought down atleast 2 sets of coils and maybe some odds and ends piece's be it MazdaSpeed caps or Chrome Door lids they'll most likely be bought. Just remember we are cheap and know a good deal haha. If you want send me a PM on what you can offer for price's. On Mazda factory tools I dunno, maybe Ray can chime in on this aspect. For me my main worry is being able to get the suspensions done quickly and effectivly.
Oh also onn food what do you wanna bring? lol..
I keep on forgetting about this and right now I'll ask.
Does anyone have a laptop and possibly have Hymee's Scanilizer?
Also does anyone have a copy of the Rx8 Workshop Manual? Chrism I think you said you had it once? If so feel like bringing a copy up just incase anyone up here doesnt have it.

I could possibly bring a rx8 service book, ill look into it.. i would def. need it back because I think we only have one. Also will try to see if we can borrow the mazda scan tool.. but unfortunately i have no idea how to use the stinkin' thing so i dont know how much good that will do us.
Guys just make me a list and ill get some stuff ordered, Id like to atleast have some idea what you guys want.
I know if anyone wants some rear and side flares BNIB in BB we have a set we would sell cheap. I could order the front also.
Just make me a list, and ill post the best prices i can do.
Please though nothing too big I am going to be bring my 8 down

so someone from the Rx7 board is wondering if we could do a manual steering rack swap on his car since there are lifts there. really it'll be taking the one rack out and putting the other one in, the pump and lines are already gone. doable? what should i tell him?
#142
If all you guys are handling the suspension stuff I can do the steering rack. As for how much, tell him to bring his checkbook and get ready to pay far less than he thought.

Shop is donated but Ray isnt lol.. I'm sure Ray will clearify what he meant. Tone via message boards is totaly mute as we all know via personal experince.
Hey Ray did you get my PM?

not every one is mechanically inclined....and it helps that a very inclined forum vendor would show up to a smaller local meet and assist in reduced price mods.....i mean cmon the man is travelling the country helping forum members.....we cant expect that to be all gratis!

Chris is correct that and Ray stands behind his work and to my knowledge a Master Mechanic (Ray correct me if I'm wrong here please ). Myself I'm extremely limited in my knowlege but I'm willing to help where I can, but I wouldnt touch that rack with a ten foot pole. That and I'm sure if the guy has a quote from a shop on how much it would cost Ray would considerably underscore it so much so you'll be doing a double take.
Sadly for me I was hoping to buy a Radiator but unless I pull off the biggest Ebay sales in history once I move to RI it aint gonna happen, and I sooo wanted Ray to install it at this meet and was willing to shell out the few bucks for it to happen.

ok that i understand i was just under false impressions.
so if we do the work our selves, is it still free? it's only a steering rack, the guy who's doing it knows what he is doing and i've done a couple in my day.
