Not a member yet. Working on a lot of puzzles at the moment.

If I go, I wonder if they'll take batteries in lieu of cash? The timekeepers were doing a mad scramble for all sizes for the timer, walkie-talkies and anything else alkaline-cell juiced.

Have Duracells(tm), will cone-kill?

Hey guys, Jesse from Linthicum here. Just got my 8, already in the shop. Basically the dealership didnt know what they were selling, the synch was bad on 2nd. I only got about a weeks worth of driving in before i had to take it in. Its been in the shop for almost 3 weeks now. Just wondering- would that amount of time be normal? The mechanic said it should be done tomorrow.

Check out my new sig!

I'm getting my car back (again) tomorrow. They fixed the crooked trunk in ONE DAY whereas they had it for 4 weeks before and couldn't fix it then. Three people took my car out for a test drive and couldn't hear a rattle (miraculous!). And did you know that it's perfectly normal for tail lights to fill up with water?

I've pretty much gotten over the whole thing. I'll just be replacing it soon. Keep your eyes out for an '06 and up (not '09.. yuck) white gt mt and let me know if you stumble across one I might be interested in

I got my Shinka from some guys up in DE that specialize in import cars. You might want to check them out, I feel like I got a pretty solid deal. unitedautosales.com

It's a small dealership, I liked the guys there a lot and didn't feel super pressured to make a decision on the spot. They were also happy to pick me up at the DE train station to come get the car when I bought it.

Hey locals, I'm buying into the dipstick light and getting one for RX8convert22 also. Anybody else in the Bel Air or Timonium area interested? Save a few bucks on the thing and shipping.

As for April 26, sounds like fun, but there's an SCCA Autocross that day at FedEx. FedEx is fun because courses there are fast enough to fully utilize second gear. RX-8 is tough to autocross on shorter courses - either needs a much taller or much shorter final drive...

My boyfriend will be there... with his civic! He bought r-comps for it about 4 weeks before he bought the rx-8 and refuses to take the 8 to autox or summit point. Please point and laugh at him since I will be unable to attend.
