You guys are hard to keep up with. I log in once every few days and there are 5 new pages :-)
Anyone down for a meet & install in the next few months? I've got new rotors & pads to install before I get the new wheels (and matching 275/35/18's -- just 4 u Im_Danomite) on the '8.

those are some nice winter wheels. rain installs are never fun. rainy days without cover should be saved for urgent repairs only.
danomite, congrats on getting her back up and running.
I went with the lmt'd edition black enkei rpf1's (18*9.5+45). I didnt want anything too flashy; just light, wide and mildly affordable. I figure they should look pretty nice as I have a brilliant black with a touch of chrome and 5% tint. The only downfall is that I ordered them last month but I'm going to be waiting until August for them to arrive.

niice, i like those wheels. very stealthy look to them. if you need tires mounted on them, let me know. i'll mount and balance the whole thing for a cheap price.
so the other day i swapped out my JIC exhaust (it's leaking) for my buddy's stock exhaust. it's been sitting outside for who knows how long. that **** smelled so bad, i initially thought something crawled inside and died. i bolted everything up, started the car and floored it to blow anything inside out. sure enough something shot out about 5 ft., then it got up and ran off...******* mighty mouse.

Mazda, building a better mousetrap. Dan, no news on the turbo yet, basically PFS was backed up dealing with a couple of problem cars. They did a baseline dyno of my car NA with incomplete tune showing 190something whp. The trims are all jacked up, so it was down at least 10-12 hp from running pig rich. Apparently the car is pulled apart and they will be working on it this weekend. The goal is to have it done by the 11th so I can take the car up to the Import Face-Off event. I'm going to be annoyed if it isn't ready for that, but as long as its done in time for the 25th I'll be alright. I have added on a lot of additional work after all.

The Geo makes baby Jebus cry. It's going to be quite a shock getting into my car when its finally done. It's normally pretty jarring going from the Geo back to my 8 when its just NA. The jump is going to be rather severe now. The Geo had ~95 crank horsepower when it was new. It's old now and I imagine its got 60 whp or so at this point tops. I'm shooting for 325 whp with my 8... so 5 and a half times the power. Yeesh. It's no wonder I decided to upgrade the brakes on the 8 before driving it.
