Great meet tonight, I had a good time. We definitely need to chill with those guys more... Evo 8, Evo X, '09 GTR, tons of G35s, 350Zs including a couple of heavily modded ones, and 4 RX-8s including a supercharged and turbocharged one... not too shabby!

For those of you coming over to read, we had a real good time I didnt get around to introducing myself to everyone but you all were cool, nothing really wrong with a JDM Mustang, big powerful car that has a little trouble going around turns,,,

Yeah, I went to PJ's and I really like the place and people that work there. It took me a little less than an 1hr I think. Very welcoming, I'll def be going back for a new paint job.

Man I totally missed the meet, that's what I get for not reading this thread in a week or two. (You would think that the email updates would actually work right though)

hey guys and girls,

i need your help

i got a ticket yesterday for speeding in South Carolina (80/60)

now, my question is :the officer never asked to sign the ticket and so i never did. is the ticket still valid even though i never signed it.

i know you automatically get away when the officer doesnt sign it but im not sure in this case.

thanks

Hi all! My name is Ethan and I own an 03 Silver 350z. I love hanging out with car enthusiasts regardless of platform (well ok maybe except for the SRTs). I had a great time meeting some of you last Thursday in the Columbia pho/carwash meet. I'd like to start making more meets that involved different cars. Some of the EVO guys in the Columbia close by area are committed to come out this Thursday to Red Robins in Columbia for a cross forum meet. Let me know if you any of you are interested in joining.

Here's my car

Welcome to the club Monica,,,

Not that big of a deal, nothing to pull the car off the road for anyway just be careful with high rpms, there is a chance your fuel mixture could retard due to the CEL... A sensor from Mazda will run about $120( Ive gone thru 3 of them) I think the one from Denso is alittle cheaper and higher quality,,,
Probably overall it will cost about $200 labor included,,,
Where exactly are you from, and someone can recomend a shop or good dealer,,,

Like Greg said, not a big deal. And you could save on the shop bill by asking one of us to install it for you. It is easy as cake and takes 5 minutes. Especially if you have the right socket to do it. If you need to borrow the socket, I have one.

WHen it comes to out of state tickets, if it is 15mph or less, than it does not transfer the points. Since yours is 20mph, the points will transfer unless you get it reduced by going to court in SC. As for the whole signing thing, your best bet is to talk to a lawyer from SC and ask them. You can usually get a quick over the phone consultation for free. Good luck!

Good advice. Fight every ticket, every time. They are too costly if you don't.

It's not just the cost of the ticket, it's the $thousand$ or more your insurance company will shaft you for over the next 3+ years.

The National Motorists Association (the guys instrumental in repealing the national 55 MPH speed limit) can provide you with references and help.

And not getting you to sign the ticket will have no bearing on it's validity.
