Oh ok, I was just clueless as to who some of these RX8 drivers were "outside" of the forum

Go to NTB (Thanks Rotr8), although I think a lot of the machines used which seem to be the same everywhere, are going to cause you car to scrape without some sort of ramps or something to roll up on first. It will not scrape bad at all; just the normal scrape like when you are daily driving. Rosenthal, they gave me BS about it as well, probably didn't want me to complain and try to get money out of them for scraping my car, It's like it will scrape no matter what unless you have a set of 2x4's lol.

well, it seems that NTB it is!

BTW, I called them and they said they charge 80 bux for the alignment.

Bhop, how much did they charge you? and which one did you go to?

might as well go to that one since you said the did yours

$60/Downtown Silver Spring, MD, I think its the only one in that area, possibly google it. They only charged me $60 because my car was lowered and I guess they did not want any problems from me about scraping the car. Like I said, it will catch the bottom of the bumper but not enough to mess up anything. I stood there and watched as they did everything and was even under the car trying to find other issues and I don't let anyone touch my car so it was mandatory for me to be inside watching every single thing. Everything was perfect for me. I'm trying to think of the guy who did the job but he was a young spanish guy that seemed mixed, pretty cool. Things might have changed since I went although it was not to long ago. Just make sure you can trust anyone with the car and don't leave, just sit and watch.

I guess she was unlucky then, like I said I will not let anyone touch my car unless they no what they are doing. If I even think something does not look right from experience of course, I will jump in and figure out a different solution.

I got a 4-wheel alignment here on KI at a place called Western Auto. They charged $60 bucks. It's a local place, but does great work

that's sounds good.

but see, my car is lowered and has 19 inch wheels and that's what everybody is giving me BS about. I took it to rosenthal mazda and those are the reasons why they didn't do it either.

^now, is the issue cause they can't get it on the lift or just because it isn't stock?

If it's the latter, that's why it is good to have a local shop you trust, cause they don't care how stock your car is.

MD Help?

I am a new 8 owner and also new to the forum (as you can see), and I am just beginning my adventure into modding as well. I have new JIS toe and camber arms, radiator, mint blue body kit, stoptech big brake kit, and underdrive pulleys to install and im a novice to say the least, just lookin for someone who might be interested in lending a hand with some install stuff so I dont **** up my ride prematurely. Any help or advice would be greatly apriciated! Also, anyone interested in a TEC3r ECU? need some cash and trying to offload it, just a feeler.
