Help needed!!!,
I'm having some issues with my '04 RX8, flooded engine. Do you guys know any good mechanics around Fort Meade area? I don’t want to take it to a dealer again; it cost me a fortune last time. I already tried to fix it myself with the “step by step, do it your self”, but no luck. Appreciate any information.

MAZDA Club meet at Carderock on 23rd
Saturday, July 23rd
Folks, the MAZDA Sportscar Club of Washington is having a picnic, car show, and swap meet at Carderock Park on the 23rd
I'm going to be there with my CYM RX-7 R1. I'd take my '8 too, but I can't drive them both.![Wink](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
http://mscw.com/#picnic
You are all invited to get in on the fun. You don't have to be a member to go, just RSVP to dave@mscw.com and let him know you are going.
Greg, I think you ought to bring that wagon out, you'll probably win a prize.

Nice lets make it 9:45 to give some time for stragglers if anyone else is coming.
The RX3? I hit 95mph on the straight away before entering Loch Raven reservoir before having to hit the brakes for the twisties!
the gearing is actually better than the 8, I can cruise at 75mph just under 3k rpms,
I found someone to drive the 8 too so I will have both kids out to play!!!

I'll have my tweety-bird, and I think you have one too, so we can cruise at comfortable extra-legal speeds.
Not too fast as the CYM is still bright-freaking-arrest-me-yellow. Bring FRS radios if you got 'em.
Great that you found somebody to bring the '8. You're going to win two prizes now that you are bringing both cars - Best Stock and Best Modified.
My buddy Crispy will give you a run for your money in the Modified, though he's more engineer than artist.
His car is on the right:

Passed a white and pink 8 this morning a little after 8am this morning, on Ebenezer Rd. in White Marsh. I didn't get a great look at it - I was still kinda drowsy and passed by it quickly, but a girl was driving.
I think there was someone who owned a white 8 with pink accents (Roxie8?), but I don't know if that was the same car. Not a lot of pink and white 8's around though!
Anyone know who it might be?

Meet UP: Lowes Aberdeen, Thursday Aug 25
I went to the Lowes cruise last Friday and ran into a bunch of rotorheads (Chris, Trey, Buck). Apparently there is a rotary gathering planned in the same lot for Thursday evening, August 25. I think it's being planned on the rx7club forum, but I'm short any other details.
The usual Friday cruise details: http://www.lowescruise.com/

I went Friday during the qualifying and practice runs, Me and my nephew had the chance to walk back in to the convention center where they where working on the Indy cars and the others and got to see the Mazda team putting a new motor in one of the cars. I was able to talk to one of the techs while they where working and learned a lot, all their cars use STOCK renesis 13B motors and the miata motors with nothing but CAI, Custom Headers and Race gas, with no tune and they put out 265-270whp. Now the Rx8 Pace car they wouldn't tell me what all was done to it for some reason they couldn't say but i looked under the chassis cause the guy there wouldn't pop the hood It had full str8 pipe exhaust.
In other news whats been going on guys I any thing new to any of the 8's, whens the meet or does anyone want to just hook up.

all of the Star Mazda's have uncorked 13b Rene's in them. The pace car just has sway bars springs and a straight pipe, nothing more, after all its just a pace car.
