Go with all season tires if your on a budget. If you have cash to blow get a set of summer tires and a set of winter tires.

I have Avon all seasons. I drove around yesterday while it was snowing and today to work (only work 3 miles away from home though). I had no problems. Didn't notice the DSC come on at all.

Get a set of cheap rims with snow tires. The stock tires are crap when it gets cold. No snow required.

I'm with you! My $1400 wheels and blizzaks are such a waste so far. Everyone told me I just HAD to buy snow tires. Phooey!

you can always sell them to our northern neighbors lol

but as this winter has shown, unless you REALLY have to drive during a blizzard, a good set of all-seasons is all you really need here in good ol' Baltimore-Washington area

there is no point in getting snow tires. you'll only use them for a couple days of the year. save your money and get something else.

I dont run my car up there, a few of my boys do. As far as the track it seems pretty sticky and they usually get a good amount of runs in (provided they win).
