Hey all - Just wanted to say hi. Just bought my RX8 this thursday. Wish I would have read this forum before today, I'm 5 minutes from the columbia Fuddruckers and would have loved to stop by.
Let me know when the next one is!

There were 2 rx8's (DANomite), a 1st gen rx7, and several 2nd gens.
Some people took pics, so hopefully they post them soon.

Pics... I was next to the gold rx7 in one pic, and the stormy blue rx8 in the other, those are both mine... Dan was the other rx8.
There are more pics up on rx7club, but I think you need an account to see them.

yeah well, it wasn't exactly apparent what car you were talking about. ANYWAY that's a beautiful color!!! I almost like it better than my whitewater pearl

Yeah, I guess technically both of the 8's were blue... I wasn't specific which one I was talking about.
That color looks better in person too, from some angles it looks almost purple, from others just dark blue.

door ding crisis
Hey guys. I just got my first door ding on my 8 two days ago at some restaurant, the one time I decide it doesn't matter and I can risk parking next to other cars. I come out and voila, there's a huge ding there. That'll teach me. From now on I'm just sticking to my don't-park-near-anyone strategy.
Anyway, the ding wasn't so much huge as it was kind of deep for just a ding. I called a guy to come fix it, and he said the person would have had to literally slam his door against mine to make one that deep.... hmm.
Anyway, just thought I'd post a before and after pic so that people around Gaithersburg/Montgomery county can hear about my experience in case they get in the same situation. The company is called Door-Ding Dr.
I'm just thanking god it's gone. I've only had the car for three months. That's way too soon to be driving a rolling ****-pile.

not me, but while we're at it, who has a silver one exactly like mine always parked on Main St near the Kentlands?
Who's got the green one that is often parked at a certain large government agency in Gaithersburg that you need ID cards to get into?
Who's the silver one I saw parked at Circuit City on Saturday off of Rockville Pike (next to the bed bath and beyond) around 8:00pm?
Lastly, sometime this week, maybe monday or tuesday, around 7:00pm a red 8 turned left off of Quince Orchard onto Great Seneca in the lane right next to me. I gunned it up to 70 on GS as usual :P

I've got a VR GT and live in Columbia, almost across the street from Fudd's. I haven't been checking the board lately or else I would have been there.

Congrats Zigrat! Tell us about your car. Color, package, etc. I remember how happy I was when I brought my baby home. It was a glorious day. Where did you buy it?
