Window Tint
Looking to have my 8 tinted. Anyone know of a reputable shop in the Baltimore/DC area.
I live near Columbia, so central MD is best.
Also, what is the legal limit in MD??
I don't want to go too dark but I want to be sure to be well within the law
Thanks

I just had my windows done about a month ago. I went to a place near the airport (BWI) I think it was in or around Glen Burnie. The name of the place is Perfect Touch they did a great job. Cost was $150.00

boarder,
it depends on what kinda work yer havin' done. if it's intake, exhaust, and other minor install work, i'd steer you to either HP Racing or GW Motorsports. I've seen a few folks with Vivid Racing stickers driving around, but no "serious" cars. HP has done wheels, intakes, exhaust, and suspension work on Rx-8's. I'd recommend talking to the owners/managers at each place to gauge their level of expertise and ask them straight up if they've worked on an 8 and the prices they charge for the specific work you want done.

Alright then, HP racing it is. I had all my work done there on my previous car so I know most of em over there. The only thing I didn't like was the prices but if they do quality work then its all good.

ok I think I have finally seen an rx-8 whose owner would be a member of this forum. A winning blue rx-8 park outside bajafresh at arundel mills with the banged up door. It gave me a some ideas of what to do to my car once I have money again.

just the first time ive seen an 8 that wasnt doing 80 in the other direction. It had nice exhaust system I wanted to check out as eventually I may have money to do something to my car. Hopefully I'll be around next time a meet is happening, I always seem to be out of the state.

...but a Mazda goes "Hmmmmmm..."
Nice to finally find a group of people I don't have to drive 3 hours to visit. Just bought my 2005 over at Fitzgerald in Annapolis. (Yes, already have my first ticket, too.) :p I swear, around 125, they just sing, don't they? I'm out in Crofton, ner Charm City in Titanium Gray with a Johns Hopkins plate holder. See you around!

Glad to see all the other MD 8's. I have an '04 Winning Blue that I picked up from Dar Cars Lexus in Silver Spring.
What time is the meeting at Fuddrucker's on the 24th? I live in Mt. Airy, but I work in Columbia and take my 8 as my dd.
No banged up doors either - but it will sound a little different after the 25th due to the REVi and RAM I will be installing.
