695 to 95 to 175 west
go over Snowden River Parkway and take the next left onto Dobbin Road.
Fudds is on the right - have to get into it from the rear
Take the first right at the light.
Type "fuddruckers columbia md" at http://maps.google.com/

Just wanted to say it was really nice meeting all you rotor heads at Fudd's yesterday, and the food was good too. It is nice to put faces with names.
Look forward to next time, till then enjoy your Rotaries!

Had a great time. Nice to meet other local RX8 owners...and a few RX7 owners hehe.
Someone mentioned a good service department. I believe it was in Virginia, Andersons? and the Service Manager was Frank?
Silver Spring DarCars was too generic for my tastes.
Looking forward to seeing you all again next month.

I like Rich Morton, definitely talk to Frank, he'll take care of you.

Anyone know if Rich morton has parts/recall instructions for the two upcoming recalls for group I cars??

There are two good threads in the Issues and Problems section of the Tech Garage.
This is a big undertaking given the number of cars effected.
Erik,
thanks for posting pictures of the meet.

Howdy,
Just got my RX-8 on the 4th of July (it has plenty of fireworks!) from all places ... Car Max (paid about 26K). Live in White Marsh but work in Forest Hill MD. I didn't know much about them (except for seeing them at car shows) but the RX-8 (with the help of the RX-8 club) has made me a rotary convert and boy have I learned alot in one month
.
It was certainly a find, I wasn't even looking for it but there it was. Silver w/ only 2750 miles on it :p .
Well, I don't regret my decision even though I have already dealt with three recall items in the first month
(gee the luck has to balance out somehow). However, I have found that Heritage Mazda of Bel Air has been great to work with even though I did not buy the car from them :D (I came to find out later they had been the original seller just three months before I got it...)
My RX-8 is silver and has the GT package with red/black leather, upgraded sound system, nav system, lots of little extras (i.e. aero flares, extra side panels, front air dam, etc).
Have put a few miles on it already but haven't done a serious road trip yet with it. Any recommendations (a trip with little trafic and LOTS of curves would be fun)
.
Also, anyone get any news about the latest (yet another) recall. Its already in the NTSHA.GOV website (just search for 2004 RX-8)
. Has to do with the suspension. Just wondering if anyone has had any problems or if I should put off my trip till after taking care of the pending 4th recall
.
Later,
James
