I actually know the guy who's the treasurer or something for the group that does those shows at the wal-mart in Halifax on Fridays. I've never been myself but he tells me it's huge. He wants to know if I want to come down but I'm working on a few things for my car and wanna get those done first.

 

I'd love to go this weekend as I said, but friggen.. Neighbor backed into my car. Apparently I may get my car back as early as Monday or Tuesday. my rental is a 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid... lol.

Spotted somebody on revere beach last nite..can't remember what color it was(it might have been silver)...it was late at nite...

I posted this in the wrong section last weekend. I spotted a VR 8 last Sunday 6-29-08 on 495N near the rt 24 interchange. I was in my 79 Spark yellow RX-7 GS,and we both exchanged thumb ups,and off we went in different directions. Nice car,and thanks for letting me catch up!!

 

I go to this show all the time,but missed this week,and will not be around this coming week,so I will miss it again. The guy at the gate gives me crap everytime I come in with my REPU,but never bats an eye at my RX-7. I hate this guy,and his politics about what is a classic,and such,what an d A-hole. I am not some kid either with some ricer. My truck is in need of a good paint job,but it is all one color,and in remarkable great shape for a 34 year old truck of japanese origin. I will be there the week of the 18th for sure,but I am not sure what I will be in.

 

Hey that other friday did you pass by me in the line of rx-7s going in..All you guys waved. When i went in there that really old guy walked up all miserable and said, "where you going, well, i guess ill let you in tonight" since it was my first time there i assumed it was all really old cars, so i said dont worry about it buddy and parked in the lot. When i got to the back field, there were a tonn of newer cars, and even a few s$#tbox ricer kids with half bodykits, and spray painted cars. I dont know what the deal is with that, which is why I want to organize a bunch of guys to go to shut that old guy up. I had more people staring at my car at the front entrance than I expected..8's would be a huggge hit there.

 

Wasn't me,I go alone,and I don't think I have been there in my 7 in about a month or better, The guy at the gate is an asshat for sure,but I can understand him give a hassle to newer cars,but I bet he doesn't say **** to the 'Vette,and Mustang guys.
