MD/DC/VA Tuning?
I have spent most of my day trying to find a shop that can tune my car as I am having issues with my turbo and int-x since the install. The only shop that has not turned me away was PFSupercars and even they said they dont have any experience but they can do it, at a fee of $620 for 3 hours and $150per hour beyond that, and since they aren't familiar, I doubt there would be much progress within those first 3 hours. Not only that, but they aren't available until the end of November. If anyone knows of anyone that is capable short of sending my car to Florida I would greatly appreciate the input.

A few of us fly scott up to nj to tune some cars. Well worth the money he knows what he is doing. If you can get 4-5 guys and book a dyno for 2 days you should fly scott up to tune. A few things though change your ignition coil packs and make sure you have a good set of spark plug wires and new spark plugs installed before the dyno. Mazsport sells a very well made spark plug wire. My car was hard to tune but he got 20 more rwhp out of her. I have talked to other tuners before we fly scott up and they said they could only get 5-10 more hp.

Yea, I saw the thread on that and was actually talking to Scott about it. I was going to come up but my turbo install was not finished in time. I would like to do something like that though. I guess I will just have to see what happens.

PFSupercars is a good group of people. They are pricey because they can be, people come from all over to them. They made a lot of products for the 3rd gen RX7, including fuel management. They should be able to get the thing running good for you but they probably don't have much experience with the int-x. Peter Ferrel himself has kinda been gay about rotary cars, he stopped working on anything but 3rd gens a few years ago, then specialized in IS 300 and 350Z twin turbo kits. I don't know what the hell the guy is thinking, good racer, business man???? I don't know he's been in business for a while but dosen't seem to care much about his rotary roots. I'm not trying to blast the man or his shop they are very experienced and offer great service. They really are one of the best shops who specialize with rx7s, I haven't been by their shop in years so I'm not sure what they are up to now (I know they have been moving around). I use to use a guy Bret, from Rotary Performance out in Manassas Park, VA. He was very knowledgable and fair on price. He did all mazdas, raced scca, just a good place to goto. However I tried calling there a couple weeks ago to get some info and it gave me a new number, called there and left a message but no return, does anyone know about the status of Rotary Performance?
