Hey all, I sent an email to the street wars people asking what the cost was to just go and look at the cars. I have not heard back from them.
Their website says preregistration is $35 and $40 at the gate. I really don't want to pay $40 to look at the cars, even though it goes to charity. Hopefully it is free or maybe just $10 to go and look. I know some of you guys are showing.
When street wars breaks down to a $40 cost to show and then an additional cost for us to meet and eat together, it would be a lot cheaper to just hold a Delaware meet. I realize there will be a lot of cool cars to see at street wars, but I know the area where Stockton College is and there will be MAJOR traffic jams just getting in and out of there with hundreds of people coming from surrounding states.
Doublegoose and anyone else who has gone to street wars before, speak up here please, is it really worth all the hassle for the day, and the cost ?
If the group still decides to go to street wars, I would go only if it is cheap to just look, saving money for us to gather and eat together. I personally don't want to spend $40 on top of a meal, along with the hassle of getting in and out of there with hundreds of cars.
So I am in for street wars if the cost is low. But I am saying NO to street wars if the cost is high, on top of the traffic hassles.

If anyone is going to Street Wars--Here is a repost of info . Lets see if we have anyone to meet and maybe we can meet at the Hibachiu buffet, near Stockton ,see repost below. Just two days away, so is it a group go or not ?
A thought, we could all meet before for lunch at the www.hibachibuffetusa.com in Mays Landing, N.J. address: 4450 East Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing NJ 08330 (609) 625-0888. (click on this website link for map and driving directions to Hibachi, and if you just zoom out a little on this Hibachi map it will show the path from Hibachi to Richard StocKton TOO !!
http://ditu.google.cn/maps?f=q&sourc...9.741506,-75.0.
Hibachi Buffet is just off Atlantic City Expressway Exit #12 which is the same A.C. Expressway Exit #12 in driving directions for Richard Stockton College (in link below) Hibachi opens at 11am on Sundays. Also for those coming from the South, it is on US Route 40 (which runs together with Black horse pike ( US Rt.322) at this point). So folks from Delaware or south can come across Del. Memorial Bridge and follow US RT. 40 all the way there.
(written directions to Richard Stockton from all areas ) http://intraweb.stockton.edu/eyos/pa...=197&pageID=64
I live in South Jersey, so I could meet you there or anywhere else you folks want to meet.
