we got rotorfest but it seems that its only hyped by the tri-state area and no many come from farther away....i have seen a few straglers from ma, md, ct, va one year there was one from fl......but it would be nice to have full on sponsorship and watch it blow up like sevenstock....maybe we just arent as passionate as the left coasters?

lol hey it was supposed to be a Meet but its turned into getting sponsors and all that to get prizes for the cars / models... for the 7 dollars you get a meal + parking with everyone else otherwise youde park on the other side of the track heh. i was trying to get a Dyno at the event but 2 grand its steep for the first time for me. yeah there is 49 people confirmed currently with only 3 weeks of being announced.. The info for the meet is on 11 websites including this one. its a meet / show and i am working on getting a huge parking lot for a autox type event for sunday when the 7's come down from their show on saturday.

it cant be the LARGEST event like sevenstock is on the first time around. The second / third / fourth will be bigger then the first. And it only gets that way when people come and support such an event.
take a look at the first sevenstock there was like 7 cars not 49 and it didnt look from the pictures that they did anything cept sit at a park gotta start somewhere be apart of this and make it an every year event.

We need a Eightstock.. gotta one up the West Coast Peep's!
As Chrism has stated our side of the coast is slowly starting to get their **** together. I think all we need is a large area perferably a track local and a good dealer sponsorship to get our foot in the door. Maybe some dealer like Rosenthal (they are in VA right?) and they can put a banner up on their site. That and try to get people to get rid of that "If XX amount of people arnt coming I aint going" attitude.

Charles its true.. for me with my friends I was the one usualy saying "If single women arnt there I aint going!" lol..
But being small first and building offa it is a good idea.. don't want a HUGE meet and not have enough resourse's or cordination to pull it off correctly. How many years has Rotorfest been running anyways? Be great though for it to blow up like Sevenstock with actual Mazda teams and reps showing up. We brought up Rotorfest in the Synaptic 3 Engineering thread they are in NH and have a good relationship with Pettit so who knows.

Group Install at Lurch's
Hi Y'all. Just following the thread. Going to try and run by, just to meet and help out. No installs on my 8 for Sunday. Just hit the 6 month mark (TG Shinka 6AT) In Cherry Hill, NJ area.
For that group coming down from North Jersey. You can either get off NJT at exit 7 and hit 295 from there, or just take the NJT all the way down to exit 1 and cross over the Del Mem Brdge at the end. I prefer 295 because it's not as boring, but NJT you can usually keep your foot in it without worrying too much.
Shinka213, maybe you can PM me and send me an address for the breakfast. Aston, PA is not too far. I'll be with my 350Z buddy, but in my car!
