Are those Toyo Proxes 4's and how do they handle in the snow and other winter weather situations. I use those as daily drivers but down here in the south, I haven't had a chance to drive in anything but rain.

I changed my coilovers about a month ago and still havent gotten my alignment. its more fun to wear tires uneven and oversteer like a bitch from lack of traction. I am getting alignment as soon as i get my new wider rims and corner balanced.

i think once he starts that will be the end of it...

im also trying to talk him into coming to the June 2nd meet at OC, MD...

CRH/Michelle - Alec mentioned at dinner tonight that you guys might have christened the guest room...

is he right???

PS..went to chucks shop today and picked up the shinka...front end definitely feels different...havent really pushed it yet...i will keep you posted..
okay here is what the MazdaSpeed 6 needs...i drive one at least 3 times a week...my best friend has one.

The Exhaust is RESTRICTIVE to the point it is horrible...its a turbo car with under a 2inch exhaust...he should get the CPE Downpipe (with Electronic Cutout) and CPE Turbo Back exhaust. This is the first and a must!

Next I would recommend the CPE Intake with the HKS Super Sequential BOV with it recirculating...dumping to atmosphere causes the car to fall on its face at top end. I would also recommend the CPE Wishbone Mount.

As soon as the FMIC is available that is another must...the top mount gets heat soak and the intake side is too hot to do any good. The upgraded TMIC are okay but I would personally get a FMIC. You could even get an ebay FMIC if your willing to do the piping yourself.

The suspension needs a lot of work...i would avoid springs and do full coilovers and sways. Another area that most people forget to look is to the wheels...only 7.5" wide wheels....get some 8" or 8.5" wide wheels on that bad boy. Staggering is not recommended on AWD so make sure he goes the same size all around.

If he really has the money they have a GT35R Dual Ball bearing Turbo upgrade that will give the car some real power. With the small turbo they are currently using the car just falls on its face but with a GT35R you won't have to worry about that. It will take a little longer to spool up but not that much longer because its a dual ball bearing!

Let me know if you have any questions or looking to have someone do all the installations....hehe.

Well I've decided to hold off on a alignment till after I put the 18's on. Since I'd have to do yet another alignment again after slapping 'em on. I barely drive her durring the week so I dont think the wear on my tires is going to be drastic.

Oh and Charles.. just started to watch Pinks and can't stop laughing as i seen him do his hand tree hahaha

Hmm.. odd squeel from my rear passenger side and have some odd *** shyt on my rim to boot. Any thoughts guys? Thought it was the dust shield so I tried pushing that back a bit all around but its still there (at low speeds its audible 5-10mph) sounds like metal being softly grinded, yanno the sound that brakes make when they are worn or close to being worn out completly. Again any thoughts suggestions to do myself would be wicked pissa

Kevin

Wheel Bearings? Lift the corner and jiggle the rim (tranny in Neutral, no e-brake, use blocks on the front). Shouldn't be any side-side play. Hard thing to tell sometimes by seat-of-the-pants, because it's the rear (no pun intended).
