Anybody down for a full brake job? It's all OE sizes so it should be a direct swap.
dave i told you i got no prob helping you out if you need them done.....you know where i live......or if you wanna get them done before the meet we can just get some space heaters for your garrage

I know, I know. But every time I think I'm ready to start installing something I find another part than can/should be done at the same time.

I would like to get this done before my kit is ready, which won't be until at least early March. If I can't make this meet or it's too far I'll definitely take you up on that offer.

I'll bring the beers.

^haha.. nothing wrong with that.. unless it starts to overtake your bed.

March is alright but we also have to factor in weather ><! Sorry had to bring some reality into all this. So for the sake of snow can we make a snow date for all this. I highly doubt some of us will wish to drive our 8's several hundred miles in snowy weather.

I'll ask the guy I know with the bays as a tenetive thing. He should allow us to do it. I don't know how much he'll have in tools there, I havn't really seen it yet. I'll prolly try to take a trip out there today.

Big News!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok everyone, I have an announcement to make.

It looks like we have a location, at the store I work for here in Delaware, where we can have our meet and work on our cars on the 25th of February.

The location is at

227 Governor's Square
Bear, DE 19701

We are able to use the shop from 12-6, but we may be able to get an extra hour or 2 for work. I spoke with Charles R Hill, and he said we should be able to get quite a bit done in 6 hours.

One thing I will ask for is donations, not only for Charles R. Hill, but for the shop as well. This is only fair, as both Mr. Hill and myself will be donating our experience to help everyone out.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to PM me. I may not get right back to you, but I will get back to everyone.

sounds great Lurch!!!

I am definitely in agreement with regards to donations....whether i get anything done to the car at all....

I have no idea how much we are looking at here in the way of donations but perhaps it might go something like this:

$25 - for those in the "listen and learn" mode
$50 - for minor installs
$100 - for major installs

feedback is welcome...please......and let me know if these donations are too low or too high....

thanks

I will not be able to join as well as it is too early for me. This is a great deal though, I hope there's another opportunity in the near future around this area.

Damn.. thats a early date guess I might be riding down solo (no caravan) since Holy and I'm assuming Dmc's cars are still in hibernation. Might still be able to have a friend with me (chris you'll see who on Saturday possibly), so I wont be bored with the ride down. Might need a place to crash depending on how worn out I am, thats my only small issue right now.

Oh btw, My10ae whom lives in NH is selling his 8 for a MS3 (traitor haha) and is going to be selling off alot of his parts that he has or never used.

IF!!! Anyone who is going to the install meet wishes to buy some of what he is selling I'd be more than willing to pick up whateva and bring it down to the meet. This is assuming he puts the stuff up for sale before the meet ><! I figure this will save both him and you a few dollars and for him time in shipping. All I'd ask is maybe a few bucks (under $5 nothing more) just thought I'd toss it out there

^Unsure atm, its a slight sticky situation which may be ironed out by tomorrow afternoon but 50/50 chance. If all goes well tomorrow and Chrism here remembers to speak up the offer for her to come will be made, she's a aspiring mechanic so something like this will highly interest her (I'd assume to with the Zex kit she might wanna learn a thing or two).

And thank you Shinka your gonna luv me and Chrism tomorrow night hehe
