just finished a late night street tuning session (easy to talk cops out of tickets at night where i tune, they know me and understand what im doing so it works out). got paid to tune a 240, and then since the highways were looking so nice and empty i decided to polish up the FD's tune, been averaging only 13-14mpg highway cruising (aka some short trips to boost) wanted to get that up, so i got most of my cruise map up to 15-16's and kept it smooth. Of course while on boost running 11:1's kills mpg lol. Hopefully once the meth is finished i can cut back fuel down there too.

Did u tune your FC??

FC is waiting for me to finish building an exhaust for it, have no time to sit around welding and fabbing lately, tuning is pretty quick and easy can always squeeze a tune in.
The FD's body pieces and a bunch of other stuff is on the way so the FD will be going under the "finalization" knife very soon, then ill have plenty of time left to fab something up
I've been tuning for maybe 2 years, I am constantly tuning the FD and i tune customer's cars, i generally prefer not to do a "from scratch" tune since i have a wide variety of cars I work on. I have built my FC's Wolf3dV4 map but the car has never done more then idle, move a few feet, and get revved up so I've never tested the load part of the map. My FD was tuned to 10psi by another shop (never did an FD before and wanted to have a good starting point) and I took over from there and now its tuned to roughly 15psi with the cruise part well polished. As a sample last weekend when i went to BBQ with some friends I ran a modified c5 z06 on the highway and pulled about 4 cars on him. Car will be going back for a "pro" tune when i finally finish the methanol setup as I've never tuned for meth before. My friend also has a dyno somewhat locally that I use when needed.
I've tuned some pretty nice setups and cars, it always sucks to tune a car nicer then your own tho lol.
I "specialize" in street tuning, making the car drivable not jumpy or backfiring etc etc. Nice smooth cruise and nice clean acceleration. If you only get you car dyno tuned and not street tuned driving is a pain in the ***. If i just went with a dyno tune on my FD my cruise mpg would be single digits, after last nights tune i think I may have knocked it up to 14-15mpg, which I would be happy with as its close to my evo's economy .
I just got back from my BBQ that no one else wanted to go to apparently. Hung around with a bunch of my tuner car friends. Great day for a nice cruise and had a ncie group of cruising cars, 2 mkiv supras, a nice s15 converted 240, 2 FC's, my FD, and a couple of random toyotas.
