oh thats why.. it was a Mazsport pump... tsk tsk tsk
I dont have to argue my case for premix NOT causing clogging because mysql101 already did that.. his fuel pump also clogged and Mazsport blamed premix..
ah found the thread https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...port+fuel+pump

you can read here too
https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-clean-tank-sock-filter-164287/
this guy is using the regular pump, and he is using the premix, o well, he doesn't use regular, he mixed with anything....not to argue, but you all should see after 20 K premix, and you let me know.......when you hit 20 K of premix, or more, let me know...you need to open the tank......take a pic...

I cant help but think its premix where else does the debris come from? I can see why it stalls and things of that nature and that sounds like because its overheating due to trying to filter through a dirty sock? I dunno just my thoughts im still gonna premix lol just make sure to check it out every year or so. Could be dirty gas too i guess DIRTY JERZ lol.
Yeah im looking for a camera mount myself tonight...

bad gas is very possible
you dont no how many times we bring cars in and test there gas and its half water
steve i suggest pulling the pump assembly out and getting a waterbottle full of gas, close the lid and let it sit overnight, check to see if it has the oil and water look..and look to see how clean it is
i cant really see it being premix since guys have been running it for a good decade or so and there havent been a larger amount of issues like this
i would sooner blame the pump then i would the premix...after all...how old is this company?

ill check out my fuel pump in about 5k then, that would be ~20k miles with premix, wouldn't hurt to check.. thats true
i got this one http://www.amazon.com/Panavise-809-C.../ref=pd_cp_e_0
people say they sometimes need an extension since this mount is designed for cameras with the mounting stud on the top and to get it to work with normal consumer cameras that have the mounting stud on the bottom they have to completely angle it depending on the application.. we'll see.

this picture has me satisfied

and if its a problem, according to the reviews the company will send the extension no questions asked and at no cost.
