Hey guys I was there!!!

Nah I'm kidding hahahaha. W

e should all make a trip to speed1 together one day though. You know, so I can drive there knowing that if my car breaks down, I'll still be able to make it to the shop.

Don't be coy.

Stink, a sign of a good shop is their willingness to fix mistakes. What's the deal yo?

They did fix it once I found it .... but what if I didnt find it? Before driving off the lot I drove it through the parking lot and I was wondering why my turbo was taking long to spool down on shut off ... I almost did not check

They did fix it right away....

There is more to the story, but I will tell you in person.

It's just like ... come on

The wastegate line is a pretty important piece in a turbo install, and I would expect a shop not to hook it up to the BOV instead ...

does anybody here know of a local painter?

Im looking to get my helmet painted 36C to match the car.

I wont pay for anything with orange peel though.

Thought about matching it with vinyl, but i cant imagine how much of a bitch that would be. I would need to send it to get wrapped.

why whatever do u mean andyopolis? :D

actually come to think of it before i decided to do the correct thing and work on the car myself, i wasted money paying IRP to do a vaccum job on my fd which 3 weeks later resulted in me having blown motor like symptoms only to be miss diagnosed by irp as a chipped seal only to have me pull the motor for no reason

and my diff granaded because the PO set the backlash wrong..which i guess counts as someone else touching the car as well

Did you tell them what happened? I think this is part of the problem. Some people get pissed at shops when they do something wrong and they don't post up feedback or speak to the shops after.

Unfortunately for me, this still isn't doable for me . I'm heading towards this myself but I'll never be able to do fix my car in the state it is right now.

If Dave meets my expectations with my v8 car, I think I'll probably find out for myself what Dave can do on my rotary. I'd really like that wonky front suspension problem I have to be fixed without replacing everything.

If things don't work out in the future between either shops, I'll be shipping my car for major overhauls.

lol shipping where? This kinda explains why I saw California and Florida plates at KDR ... people always thing grass is greener on the other side ....

Are you going to ship it to Re-Amemiya? At this point that is probably the only place I would trust.... that and Wankel Works, but with Wankel Works I am a bit biased.

I wouldn't say that man. There are more shops in CA competing for each other in business and there are defintely shops that are better than others around the country. If things don't work out locally, I plan to go to GorillaRE, maybe defined autoworks, banzai, pettit, who knows. Chances are though, after this round of mods, I'll be done for a while.
