it wasnt a miss spell lol
Judge Ito is who i was referring too
and dennis, as much as it sucks, you cant really be that upset, you lasted the longest out of all of us, and with what you knew about your engine, you were kinda past due
but anyways, enjoy the wonderful fun of picking an engine builder...though from what ive read, it seems like its getting harder and harder to get good seals, id actually talk to brian about what he would recommend on that part, hes always trying new things and comparing
actually, come to think of it why not have him build ur engine if he has the time, hes the only OCD person i know that would make it magically put out 600hp on 12psi

not upset at all....
I was thinkin the same thing..... Engine lasted a long *** time... and the most important trip... deals gap... :lol
so your saying no ito??? got any links why not?? cause a lot of people have been recommending him....
as for brian.. im not sure he would do it on his spare time considering that he workds for dave.... plus there SOooOOoo far away... at 4$ a mile... it would be a 500$ tow
and stink if your can post some links of the place your talkin about.... this week im just doing to research as to who I should go with,

somebody definetly needs to invest in AAA lol
but seriously, its at least worth just talking to brian, see what he says, hes always had his own opinion and would never just say speed1 because he works there
well your more then welcome to come look at the car at steves shop if you like, were still trying to figure out the wiring harness
hes an old school carb n black magic kind of builder
in my honest opinion, i think your best bet, is call benny, bribe him with some pink hello kitty slippers and have him pull your engine
that way you can send out a core to anyone you like
speaking of which, i highly recommend chip motorsports, they do miracles with engines and can lap plates
although the downside is your stuck with a carcas of a car for a while, sending out an engine is actually THE fastest way to get your car back and the variety of builders becomes wider then whos the closest to tow
even when i sent my block out to dave, he had it ported, polished and rebuilt in a week
you figure, ben can pull it in about 4ish hours(because i know hes got it down to a science), send it out, if your lucky a week later you get the block back, a weekend to get it back in and your good to go

I did speak to Kel, and I totally understand what he experienced with Ito. I also spoke to Ito and he came clean about alot of other problems he had back in the day. he has helped me big time with my Dad's build (R.I.P dads FC) that being said Dave is right. pull the motor and options are crazy. I read alot of good things about Pineapple racing also. make it a BBq at benny's and I would love to help.
O, remind me when it gets closer about formula drift. I promised to take my boys.

Hi guys... I hit a deer on RT 17 with my 2008 40th Anneversery RX-8. Can anyone reccommend a very good body shop in Northern NJ or Souther Rockalnd County? I want someone who can fix it correctly. Front Right corner needs to be repair, may also need to be aligned.
Let me know your reccomendations... My insurance Co in NJ Manafactures, will file claim tomorrow.

BY THE WAY... is this your car? my brother saw it a couple of months ago as he was driving by. From how i figure it, there are only about give or take 20 40th anniversarys per state. not including how many have been wrecked since 08.

if it is a 40th anniversary i would, its not exactly common at 20 per state. Besides mine, i have not seen another one in person.
