What makes me sad is that this thread is dying just because the old dogs are getting real jobs and cant make it all the time and none of the new pups feel like talking or going out on their own.
I think ive seen at least 5 people in the past year say "hello! Wheres the meet at?" and never see their faces after that
And another 5 come once and get discouraged because its kind of a small turnout and never come back again
I remember when i first started going, after i got to know some people, i didnt care if there was only one other car in the lot, i came every week, i talked with whoever for hours and looked forwards to the next week in hopes that i might meet new people
But on that note things were different back then, and a lots changed since....youngins have no dedication now, feels like everyone expects these things to instantly be the parking garage in tokyo drift.....its a shame
i wish i had the free time to go out every tuesday from 9 to 3am and just bullshit and hang out, but my job now just doesn't make that possible, but that still doesn't mean i dont try
so heres the deal slackers, pending this "supposed" massive end of the earth storm were getting next week, ill suck it up and take a 20 hour energy drink with a red bull chaser to be out tuesday at the OG spot
this is a 5 day notice
whos down?

things were different back then, we all we like just getting into rotaries and had a common passion. half of us dont care as much about cars, others have gotten new cars, and the other half, well, own broken down rx7's and well they're rx7 owners, aka ********.
an hour drive isnt worth it anymore when 3 people show up for 2 hours............

the last storm my brother came home in the middle of it, when it was bad. a tree was blocking our driveway so he got out of his car and i came outside to help him move it, then a massive tree thats been there for years fell over and missed his mini from 3ft. no joke.
lol the 7 is sitting in the driveway.. not too many trees around so i hope she'll be okay lol....
dave when u have the 7 maybe u should stop by... otherwise dont bother =P
andddddddddddddddd since im spamming this everywhere... engine bay cover im making for the 7..
small update... finished designing, and laying up fibgerglass of the "rough" shape. Tomorrow will be trim, smooth everything out and make pretty!
some update pics because no thread is cool without pics!

thank god the fence kept the tree from totaling the car.
right through the window.

Any of you guys parking outside without a garage should seriously consider a tent to cover the car. Just make sure its not a cheap one. Then anchor it into the cement and add some support beams. Keeps the car dry in rain and adds a layer of protection.
I cant stress enough to not buy a cheap one though, my brothers girlfriend got one for her mustang and it was around 100 bucks, with rain it collapsed and created a huge scratch on her roof.
