only time I've ever seen anyone care about that emissions wise was if you get caught in a check point which is rare, I've been pulled over in my FD multiple times and its never even been a mentioned jokingly to me. And anyone who knows me knows you can smell my FD a mile away lol ... I'd assume however if you seriously **** the cop off that might be an issue.
Noise however really varies from town to town and the cops mood. I know up by me theres so many ricer civics that most cops ignore it all together....though I did get pulled over that one time because the cop heard me speeding
but other then that not much notice, and I've been pulled over in multiple towns and even by sheriffs. However in quieter towns like where benny lives, you can't go 2 blocks without a cop pulling you over for being too loud

well my fd sleeps when it snows, but even if it didn't it would be completely undriveable, power comes on to quick and to violently to do anything but spin the tires in the snow lol
the rx8 should be fine though, traction control should take care of any major wheel spin and the abs should help with sliding

Cool I thought I would have a bit of fun sliding in a open space. Ima soon sell the wrx for a cobra and a beater to enjoy a straight line power car (cobra or mach1) and a track (8)

I drove my 8 in the winter with dedicated snowtires in rockland county which has some notorious snow. Its not terrible but it can be sketchy in bad snow or if its bad enough impossible. The 8 is forgiving even in the snow just dont be an idiot.
