kel,
let me know about those rims..![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Oh, BTW, I tried claybarring the rims again this morning except I rubbed the same spoke over and over for like 10 minutes, and that crap is coming off them, slowly but surely. i guess it is brake dust. :-D
Wait, that means I have hours of claybarring to do on JUST MY WHEELS.. damn, and I was content thinking they were just really discolored

hmmm claybar is not the way to go for your wheels unless you have a whole day to burn
Claybar is non-invasive but what you need is a proper cleaner polish. If you have Zaino ZPC, you can use that. If not, get a good paint polish from the local Autozone/Pepboys.. same stuff for clear-coated body paint for use with a hand application- Meguiars is recommended. If you can't stand the work, get the Mother's Powerball and apply polish on that instead of doing it by hand.
Read here if you want to really get into it: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-wheels.html
You can apply Zaino Z2 after the polish to seal it up for the shine and durability.

did location change or something...I got a report on the mirror thread(7club) about it being overrun with VWs.
80+ pages is too much to go through, sorry!
