yea, nice meeting most of you guys for the first time. Would've stayed longer but my girl was feeling pretty sick and since it was getting colder out and such I didn't want her to get even sicker. Looks like you guys have a nice meet setting up, maybe i'll have to swing my whole rotary crew over there one tuesday...altho we normally all just meander around my shop at home and grill something up once it gets nice out. Guess the "stay at home" thing happens when everyone has straight dump exhausts and all are easily within 10's....sometime the go pedal is a little to tempting when driving to meets lol.
I was waiting to get nailed on 80 for doing about 90mph, the exhaust on that FD is an wastegate to the atmosphere and basically 3" pipe from the back of the turbo straight back, what looks like a muffler is a muffler shell with a pipe straight through it.
Can only imagine what my t2 will sound like when I finally get it running, t78 with full 4" exhaust and atmospheric wastegate...my neighbors think they hate me now, lol just wait.
Anywho I'll see if I can convince everyone to drive down there next tuesday, thatll add about 6-8 cars, all 7's however, depending on a couple guys who work later then the rest of us.
see ya,
kevin.

Chris, I think you were looking into painting your taillights.. but I think these new things from rx8strakes.com would be better!

They've got a red taillight film too! And because they're stick-on films, they can be removed and will protect the assembly from scratches

All RX's in general are one way cars lol.
Wait til your cars age a bit, then you will know what we FD guys go through.
Actually if you have an 04 8, you probably already do

damn hope it isn't too bad.. You gonna go for the side exit? That would be sweet!
I keeed I keeed
My clutch exploded 2 months after I got my car
My heater only works when it wants to (usually exactly opposed to the times I want it to)
My clutch pedal bracket is about to fail
I have clutch chatter that I still can't track down
The transmission grinds on the 1-2 shift
My shocks are shot
I think I qualify
