Either way, if I weren't at the Oscoda ProSolo, I'd be there. :D

NESCC is basicaly run by the same people as NER, they have just shuffled the jobs around.
They generally have a slightly lower turn out, so sometimes there is more runs. There is no novice class so you would have to run in open class. There is a pro class so most of the top people run there so you wont be competing against KC. :-)
They also have a pro challenge where the top 8 pro drivers compete to wil the pro class. Plus there is an open challenge where they take the top 8 open class winners to compete. Basically each of the 8 competeing take a run, and the top 4 move on, they run again and the top 2 move on, then they run one more time for the winner. So it adds something interesting in the middle of the day.

Nice guys, saw a lot of RX-8s in the results, way to represent!
Nice vid Noel, see you got yourself a VooDoo ****, sweet! You guys have got to come out and do/see a track day at NHIS. I promise I'll do an autocross if you guys do a track day!
BTW, I need to buy a helmet, any suggestions of comfortable ones that allow me to breathe?

I'm looking for a helmet too and I'm contemplating between a G-force G750 or a HJC CL-14. Both are claimed to be eyeglass friendly and the HJC has adjustable air vents. Both are under $200 but the decision is basically between open-face or not. I'm not sure whether they're comfortable or not but I'm taking the risk and will be ordering one of them online.

I got my helmet from HMS Motorsport. They are somewhat local. You should drive there and try them all on. Seriously, I hated most of them. Everyone's head is different. If you plan to venture beyond AutoX, I think full-face is a lot safer.
I tried Bell- it was tight as hell around the crown of my head, and loose everywhere else. The G-Force felt ALMOST right. I ended up getting a Bieffe. It is living hell getting it on and off, but once on its nice, and I feel safest in it due to the snug fit all around my head.
Yes, my head is fat. :o
