I am down for whatever. I love Maine, and my wife has been mentioning she wants to get back to mt desert island, and cadillac mountain again. It has been 8-9 years since we were last there, and we both miss it. I don't need any tuning done, and to be honest I am not sure I even care to see anyone get thier car tuned, becasue none of my cars will ever need that sort of thing, but I am open.

If I get new tires, maybe I will even take the truck on the run,but I would have to be in the back,so as to not slow you guys down. The truck is quick, but the handling is not so good.

I would like to get something going sooner rather than later,so we can get hotels, and such. I don't want to get stuck in the lousy hotel outside the area like last year at the Swiss acres. ME,or NY is fine with me. Or better yet lets do both.

I'm in if I've got the car

I'm back in the country for a little while. I've got to head back to Brazil on April 14th, but I should be back around May 16th. If ya'll don't mind having the Speed6 again, I'd like to join ya'll. RX Eight 7s is right, I am going to try selling the Speed6. If I still have it, I'll do the run. Otherwise I wish you many miles of no speed traps.

I stayed at the Summit again this past Christmas with my family. The remodeling is finished and the place looks nice. And the construction was finished in downtown Lake Placid (for those that were at last year's run)

Attached are 2 pics from last year's and one from the Summit this winter.

I might be back in. Rumor has it my trip was moved to this fall, but I have no confirmation yet. I'm in if I'm here. Don't think the FD will make this run - I'm upgrading the whole suspension and bushings take time - the one thing I have none of (besides cash of course - I do own 3 rotary cars...).

Last year it took 2 months just to settle on a route so the process should start now if this is going to happen in any "grand" way.

Just throwing this in the air: I'll be driving down from Montreal with my GF to go to the Lime Rock events (race, bbq, mazda corral) and will be driving thru the Adirondacks on Saturday May 24th on my way there.

If anyone is interested in meeting up somewhere and have lunch, we could improvise a mini-spring run

The only real trouble tho is that I'm driving North to South, and if I remember most of you guys are located down south of the park so that would mean driving up north to go back down south afterwards...

Anyhow, if anyone is interested... let me know!

Hey, Mendossa,

Not sure if you know it or not but the Koni ST race starts at 3pm on Saturday. Don't want you to miss anything.

Yeah, I still haven't made my mind about what races I'll attend... we'll have to get up real early and drive a few hours before reaching Lime Rock, so I was thinking I might forget about the races on Saturday and focus on the meet on Sunday and the 20Bs on Monday.

Another scenario is that we cut right thru (maybe on the 85) straight to Lime Rock and attend the ST race... but I really like driving in the Adirondacks and was looking forward that part of the trip since it's like 1000 times better than the roads I experience everyday in Montreal.

Tough choice...

I know what you mean. Highways are boring *** hell. It's a 2 1/2 hour ride for me that's mostly all highway. I want to get there to see the ST race though. It has the most RX-8's in it (11). The Rolex GT has 4 I think.

Looks like this one is not coming together, so I'm poaching.

It's only a day cruise, but similar roads - in fact, the same road - just farther south and east.
