I'm off of walter reed drive ...
i will say while cops in VA are plentiful I (knock on wood) have had decent experiences with Arlington County cops....hope i didnt just jinx myself.
as for the front plate thing, mine is off- i drive with it off but keep it in my car. when i park on the street, say in arlington, i put it on the windsheild and that seems to have worked (knock on wood).
I was pulled over for it once, but explained 'i was missing a bracket and plan to fix it" and got off with a warning.

I'm in the ballston area, my girlfriend lives right off of Walter Reed (wakefield area) so I probably drive right by you often I'm sure. Yeah I'd say arlington cops aren't too bad. All of my problems have been with state troopers, prince william county, fairfax county, and most of all stafford county cops.
