Werner wasn't bad from the couple times I've been there. I mentioned them in post 22.

Ach! That's what I get for using the "first unread" button. Skipped right over that one. I'll give them a try.

I used to bring my 8 to Werner all the time. highly recommended. I still bring my MX-5 and Speed3 there for all service and maintenance. Ask for Kelly the Service Tech when you're there.

Thanks. I've got some rough idle/low power issues that I'll have them look at.

I stay away from werner. They have been nothing but awful to me. They have hit my car. They returned my car twice to me with the check engine light on. They have lost the little joystick for the navigation. I had purchased accessories with the car that were not available right away. When they came in, I brought the car in to have them installed. When I showed up at the end of the day, they weren't installed.

I now bring my car to Tulley in Nashua, I haven't had a problem there.

I went to Tulley twice. Once when I bought the car to have them look it over and do the first oil change, and once when a rock took out my condenser. Neither time did I get a great feeling from them. They seemed indifferent.

Sounds like you have bad luck or they don't like you there. Never had an issue witgh Werner or Talarico for that matter. Had all my service done there for my Miata's, RX-8, and now Speed3. If you have a problem, ask to speak with Mark Traveres the Service Manager and he'll set things right.

I wouldn't let the grease monkey's at Tulley check my air pressure. They could screw up a soup sandwich...

Service

While I have never had my RX-8 serviced at Tully, my buying experience there was so atrocious that I would not recommend them for an oil change. This is on the theory that if you get kicked around by the sales force, the mechanics will not be much better. I have mine serviced by IRA in Danvers, who are not fantastic, but appear to be competent.

I'm In Maine, But...

I can highly recommend Autex in Keene. I bought my car there (she turned 4 yesterday!!!) and the buying experience was great. I wish I could service it there, but 150 miles each way is just a bit much for routine service. I take it to Clair here in Saco, Maine. They're OK, but then, I have them terrorized about touching my car.
