^ I think I know exactly who they're talking about and I'm sure all the other people at the meet who saw him leave, can vouch that he didn't do anything reckless. Just pull out of the parking lot like all the other Rx8, Speed3, or Miata guys.
Its just that his exhaust was so freaking loud with the midpipe that it sounded like he was pulling some kinda stunt. Not much someone can do if they have a loud exhaust. Then again no one complained when about 10 Speed3s bolted out of the lot in unison They just did it quieter lol.

Also could vouch, he didn't burnout or anything.... the same guy that said something pulled out as hard as the rx8.... getting into boost and everything.... he had the black mazda speed with the cork orcCobb tuning sticker.... and the rest followed his lead

On another note I would love to do a compression. Test for my car...... when its really hot it will take 3-3.5 seconds to start. After the test, hopefully it pass.... will look into a starter

Kevin you changed coils recently, what about plugs and wires? check those first since you will be right there when you do the compression test.

I am not implying or pointing fingers. Simply stating from what I have heard as I haven't seen it myself. If the other guys are ******* around, then I'll equally bring up the issue as well. Just stressing AGAIN the fact that we should do our part to be civilized.

hey do you guys think if I disconnect my coolant sensor it would be a bad idea; the light is really annoying (pressure sensor fail). Or should I shell out the 130 for a new reservoir. Does the benefit of knowing you have low coolant due to random leak, outweigh the cost in anyone's opinion?

My concern would be a slow leak big enough to lose a significant amount overnight, or over a couple of days when you don't use the car. I don't want to have to check coolant level daily, so I ordered the revised sensor/tank.

jackson...Ill be there by 6pm. Compression sparks and possibly wires. uPGRADED THE STARTER AND BATTERY IS CHARGED. Sorry I have not been able to come to the last 2 meets.
I picked up an 85 rx7 Gsl se with a rebuilt 13b engine , clutch and tranny. interior is in great shape. Just had to change the gas tank because of a small leak on the tank. But I,m in love. Just needs a paint job which i'm doing in two weeks when I go to maryland. I couldnt believe these little first gens could be that fast. I managed to pull it to 120 on the GCP on my way to rosevelt fields. My dad registered for me , Historic Plates, $215 for insurance a year,,,,can't beat that! Already upgraded brake lines and calipers. To my luck it was one of the last produced ( 4/85 MANUFACTURED) AND EVERY POSSIBLE OPTION FOR THE MODEL AT THE TIME)

WILL PROB BRING TO ONE OF THE MEETS........ SO YOU CAN MAKE FUN OF MY NEW PROJECT POS....AND GO BACK IN TIME....WAY BACK

The drive to flushing was sick, 5 8's Russel brought a Porsche and the M3 came as well, too bad the supra did not make it.
