Do you think I should add in the 3M clear bra/mp3 player and other addons I put into the 8 for the price or just go with 28k and drop it down?
Thanks for the help
O and Hanzo I talked to a guy at infiniti on Broad so I think I am stuck with him. If you PM me with your brothers name and number I will give him a call though after I sell my 8.

FYI, the KBB trade in value runs about $25,300 which is what GTs are actually selling for on eBay. The more I research this the more laughable it is that KBB rated the RX-8 a "2004 Top 10 value holder". It seems about average in that area.
You may want to PM Rever to see what he got for his 8.

I have been scouring ebay too..and GT's are not going for that much. You might want to take it to Car Max and see what kinda quote they will give you too, just as a benchmark. I hear they are realy fair.
But, I have also looking for used FDs..I am thinking mabey I can buy one and do some work on it..and save myself a loan, and keep the Legacy for a daily driver. Only bad thing is..all the affordable ones are in the middle of no wear. I found one in Texas that looks like a good canidate. Just some cosmetic work and it may be good to go..

There's a red one down on Hull Street between Genito the Walmart. We're going to go look at it this week, though I know nothing about it other than that it's there.

Still haven't had a chance to go see it, but it was still there as of about three hours ago. If we make it out there this weekend I'll try and give you a call.

Okay, stopped by on our way home from a movie. It's an auto, it has crappy tires, ugly tint, and the fin looks funky, but other than that it looks like it's in pretty good condition (at least cosmetically). No idea how many miles (was too dark to see) or how much they are asking. Pretty car, but auto, and at a questionable dealership. Might go back and get the VIN and run a carfax on it.

Hey guys I am back.... Ok let the jokes begin. MY OD has a grand total of 1900 miles on it. And the car is one year old...
I may not need my seat covers after all.

Did any of you see that mazda speed brought a super charger to 7 Stock? It is supposed to be like 6psi boost. I wonder what that translates into for hp! Might have to keep the 8 after all, looks like a lot of turbo/SC options coming out that might actually boosst the speed to where I won't care about crappy gas mileage.

Take it to Deals Gap and you won't care about the mileage either. It doesn't need more power with the way it corners.

The Tail of the Dragon. It's in NC/Tennesee near Asheville. We had a meet down there two weeks ago- check out www.mazdanow.com for pics and stuff. It was amazing. I did jerk my alignment out of whack, but for that, I don't mind paying $75 to get it realigned. The 8 is truly an amazing car- the two STis with us did get away, a bit, but not by much.

6psi isn't much... My car has 13.5psi...and does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds..and gets great gas mileage!
They need too lower the compression in the engine to run a higher boost, then we will get some serious times from the 8.
Can't run high boost with the stock compresion ratios.
