No Start Condition

driving enthusiasts
this is truely a sad yet happy day.my 2004 titanium gray rx-8's rotary rocket ship has lost compression..say it ain't so..I've got 57k mikes on it and mazda is drop shipping a new engine to the dealership i've got it at..no charge of coarse, thank god for that..So i'm without out my ride for about a week, but i do get to play with a new motor,I went out to start the beast and it just turned and turned over..took the plugs out and a couple were a tad damp.Called my nearest dealer and had mazda road assistance flat bed it to a dealer were there did a bunch of testing and determined that the massive flooding issue was caused my no compression.or little at that..So a huge thumbs up to mazda and grappone mazda in concord nh for doing the right thing..Both have been awesum in the service they've given me..

Was it an AT ? I plan to have the compression checked just before the warranty runs out anyway...
