NoVa Safety Inspection

Has anyone had their inspection done that does not have TPMS installed. I guess my question would be is it a fail if you have that little light on. Also, any places you guys can recommend?

The TPMS isn't on the safety inspection list, so I doubt it would be an issue. If the inspector notices the light, maybe just tell him that it comes on occasionally and you planned to get it checked out.

There is a DIY that tells which wire to clip if you don't have TPMS. Never hurts to not have a light on when getting inspected.

I get free lifetime inspections from my dealer. That makes me very happy, since I don't have a good feeling about gas station inspectors putting the wheel back on properly if they pull one. The dealer also did not say anything about my LightInSight, which a friend told me is actually illegal in Virginia.

I take my other cars to Vienna Sunoco (the one that used to be Mobil, on Maple Avenue not far from the library). Inspection line is around the back, and generally shorter than ones out in the open. I always have to see which wheel the R&R'd, and redo the lug nuts.
