Meets will start in April 2007 to September 2007, with an optional October Meet depending on demand.

The locations are still being discussed. These are some of the locations we have previously held meets and will be considered again.

Valley Stream State Park (Nassau County)
Flushing Meadows Park (Flushing-Coronas Queens, NYC)
Bear Mountain State Park (Around Seven Lakes)

New Locations

Great Lakes
Albany
Suffolk County LI

Any suggestions will be considered.

can we also do like.. besiades valley stream .. can we just do like local area weekly meets or somethin too? like DPA or nathans in oceanside nassau county long island or somethin like that.. hit up jones beach ocean parkway and take a ride to captree state park or oak beach in on sunday mornings with my friends 350Z club.. i think that would be pretty nice

Adirondacks would be a great place, not sure how far into NY you guys go though. Lake George is home to many car events over the summers... (adirondack nationals etc)

 

Hey were open to suggestions Krysy. The upstate rotary movement is going along very well. Kinda surprised us. The last meet we had in NYC saw a total of 73 cars. When we held our first upstate meet there was only 8 NY people that went up. And 32 Upstate ppl came out of nowhere. Ever since we have been growing and spreading all over to Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo, New Burgh etc.

So all in baby steps. Bear Mountain has grown on some of the NYC ppl so now it wont be as bad to go up to Lake George/Albay area. The reason we want to hold meets so far is to bring more awareness to up upstate ppl taht cant find rotary to chill with.

Were probably going to have 2 chapters of NYRA in NY, so that the upstate guys that are too more than 2 hours from NYC can do there own thing under NYRA.

We also got NJRA and CTRA (coming soon in 07)
