Come to the meet and you will get a sticker and be added to the CTRA REgistry which is the same thing this post is trying to do!

This thread is trying to collect a master list of ppl in CT , the CTRA registry just like the NYRA registry does that and at the same time we collect rotary members to the club (ADMISSION IS FREE!!!!!)

Hey guys. I'm new to the 8 forum as you can see, but I'm an old pro over on the 7 forum. I would like to introduce myself. I'm John from Stamford and as Jason has pointed out I'm the head of the CTRA. We plan meets and get togethers for all the rotary guys. I started with the NYRA and spun off to the CTRA with Jasons help and blessings. We have a site at http://www.nyrotary.com/ and an entire section just for the CTRA in the forums there. I'm all for meeting new guys especially rotary guys. i will keep my eyes out for you in Stamford as I see there are many of you. I live over on Pepper Ridge, so I'm close to everything.

So, come on over this Friday to the Burger King on High Ridge for an informal meet and greet. We could hit up the merrit for a cruz or maybe some back roads.

John

Welcome everyone! I'm glad this is finally taking off.

I like the whole CTRA idea. Originally, I had only thought of the RX8ers as a group, but I really like the idea of expanding on a group that is in the works.

Great job! CTRA FTW! I can't make the meet this Friday, but I promise that I'll head on down that way. We couldn't be further apart in the state, but I need to put the miles on her to start hitting those redlines!

Great, glad to see you guys are getting into this. CT has a lot and i mean a lot of potential especially with the RX-8 guys. We include all rotarys , cuz my freinds have rotary Starlets, BMW's, Corollas, MG's, etc.

So as CTRA expands and CT ppl start making some meets then we can expand the locations of the meets to a more centralized area that is better for the majority of the members. So join the nyra forums we have a CT section for all the CT ppl and we are all rotary brothers/sisters.

I hope to see some of you guys this friday in stamford, ima be bringing some NY goons with me =)

Might have a little meet in RI first of all places. I'll likely be going to Paddy's in Westerly in a week or so. I'll let everyone know when in particular soon. Probably a Thursday night.

Oh, welcome to Connecticut! ...or somethin'.

I don't know that we have very many in CT either. Joining forces is always good.

Shinka, I lived in Westerly for a few years, and I literally can throw a beer can into RI across the Pawcatuck River. Let me know when you head down and I'll try to meet you at Paddys.

RR7, I'd like to get involved with the CTRA group. I am nowhere near the master, but I am pretty good at organizing events and getting people involved. I'll jump onto the NYRA forums and make a post in the CTRA area. Let me know how I can help. I have a few tuning companies / dynos that we can use for events if anyone is ever interested.

I'll PM you my personal info so we can chat offline.

^^ i saw the post ninja thanks for joining. We are always open for more help CT is big and we cant be anywhere. What i have just instated in my club for NYRA is that certain members that i trust and show dedication are holding there own LOCAL meets in their towns (representing NYRA) such as Albany, ROchester, Buffalo etc since us NYers and Lower Upstate NY (<~~Sounds weird lol) cant make it 6 hours lol.

So yes we are very interested. Discuss it with JOHN im sure hes down =)

Im very excited. next year we will be expanind NYRA, NJRA, CTRA and including New Hampshire =) and maybe Pennsylvania.

Thane, hit me up on AIM (spankmywankel). I'm on all the time, we can talk about doing some stuff. I always coordinate everything with the NYRA, so we do not cross over on meets. See if you can make the August 11th meet in Flushing Meadows.

Sounds good John. I'm "dubsessed" on AIM. That name came from my VW days, hence the "dub". I usually have it on all day at work, so we can chat this coming week about upcoming events.

As for the rest of you, keep on posting. The more the merrier.

Not to be a stalker but I work out in that area. Do you by chance drive a yellow one that you often park out by the road?
