oil change

I just did 1st oil change at 2600 miles. Put in just under the 3.7 us qts with filter change per manual and it still reads a quart low after running it and letting it sit for a while. What's up with that?? Also notice when oil is warm the dipstick has a bit of bubbles or foam on it. Anyone ever have that??? thanks for any replys. Charlie

ps- i'm using mobil 5000 5w-20 with super tech ST6607 oil filter from Walmart. I use these filters on my motorcycles too and they work great!! Highly recomended on various oil filter reviews and they are made by Champion for Walmart. $2.07 each (what a bargain)

i usually end up using 4 full quarts of oil during an oil change, the dipstick always reads right at the full mark when i do that

the foam is condensation of water mixed with oil in the dipstick tube, it is not harmful, however there is a redesigned dipstick that comes with a plastic sleeve that can prevent this from happening, mention 'foam on dipstick' to the dealer next time you go in for service and they will put in the new dipstick under warranty.

i have heard about SuperTech and that they are decent for the price you pay for, but i'm picky so i use Purolator PureOne (the blue casing is sooo purrrty... lol)

Just posting to say I bought myself four Walmart ST6607 Super Tech Oil Filters for the same price and had one installed my oil change place today. I kept the receipt in case I want to return the other three.

I may just buy the Mazda ones and go with those the next time around.
